2 lb prime cowboy ribeye from CM and some prime filets from Costco. Reverse seat on the rib-eye. Direct heat on the filets

Thx for the recs! Most of the scopes I’ve seen are FFP. For this distance is that preferred over SFP?

I will argue about the weather here with anyone. Yes, it is unbearably hot/humid and downright unpleasant for close to 5 months out of the year. But for 7 months out of the year, save two weeks when it gets “cold” the weather here is fucking glorious. I’d make that trade all day

Houston is a much more cosmopolitan and diverse city than anywhere in TX.

Pretty sure where Tesla falls flat is in it’s service department, which I hear from colleagues who are tesla owners, is an abhorrent experience all around. That’s where, I think, the legacy brands will far outpace Tesla in the long run.
And, as an aside, the new S class interior is tits

How long range do you want to go with it and do you want to manually turn turrets or use holdover/electronics? And stay lightweight I’m assuming? If I’m being honest, probably no more than 500 yards. Have no real issue in manually turning turrets. Lightweight would be great

Picked up a “The Fix” by Q yesterday. Wanted a bolt action 6.5 CM that was lightweight. After lugging around my HK 556 I’ve been leaning more and more towards lightweight rifles/SBR’s. Still haven’t pulled the trigger on a scope yet. Have a Vortex Viper PST Gen II that’s 1-6 but looking for something in the 4-16X range.
What do y’all recommend? Not averse to dropping nearly 2k on a Razor but if anyone has any good recs, I’d appreciate it. And, my LPVO I referenced above is SFP. Would it be better to get a FFP for the 6.5 CM scope?

Hitting up Joey Uptown on Friday. Anyone been? Pretty sure it’s a Canadian based chain. Perused their menu and looks like everything is overpriced by 20%, but hey, wife wants to “check it out”

Best part about the wagyu briskets IMO is that the flat is tender as hell. Had found some meaty looking beef ribs (not dino) at Costco. Reminded me of the beef ribs I used to enjoy of my youth before these brontosaurus ribs became all the rage

15# SRF Wagyu brisket. Went the Guga method and trimmed just about all the fat cap off the point and left 1/4” over flat. On the GMG at 11pm last night. Woke up at 0700 today and meat was wrapped immediately at 180F. Hopefully in the cooler by 1-2 for a 6P dinner

Just picked up a Sig P365X with the RomeoZero at Academy today while on my usual lunchtime ammo hunt. Gonna be my new EDC. Anyone have any IWB holsters with extra mag they recommend? Leaning towards going with Tier 1.

Absolutely loved BOTW. I have bought just about every Nintendo platform there is just for Zelda, and I think this one was the best one yet. Hyrule Warriors absolutely fucking sucks. Just button mashing. Same shit every time

And we named him Zorro

As alluded to above a buddy of mine owns some of the Houston Sit Means Sit franchises. I went down the Reddit wormhole and found a bunch of people not liking their methodology using e-collars. I’m all for positive reinforcement teaching but I also want an obedient dog, but not one that’s depressed and always fearful for the next zap. What are y’all’s experiences with shock collars?

This is fucking stupid. All you need is G. Give your other two to the 50 ninjas and G will still win. Bitch got shot in the fucking head, raped, and buried alive and still took out the fucking Yakuzas single handedly.

We have a doodle. Amazing dogs. Needy, but rewarding. They are super smart, good but bad if you don’t manage it. Training is easy but you HAVE to do it. Get them in classes with other puppies after vaccines to socialize with other dogs, very important. Actual training after that, huge for a well behaved dog. Raw food diet, they live longer. Kibble is shit. Take them EVERYWHERE the first year. Good for a lot of reasons, one they are pack animals and belong with their pack (you). Two, what they are exposed to they are used to that first year. Kids, pools, other dogs, trails, hiking, rivers, boats, parks, dinner, whatever it is you’ll want to do with your dog for 15 years do with them the first year. Crate or not that’s fine. Ours is small and shares our bed. But we absolutely minimize the time he’s not with us. That’s probably the number one thing you can do for a dog, let them be in your pack as much as possible. He’s a GREAT dog just ask his god parent @justhookit but a large reason why he’s so good is we did and still do these things.
Buddy of mine owns one of the Sit Means Sit franchises in Houston. Definitely going to get him trained when he recommends
