I was being tongue in cheek with the "stole" reference.  But really addressing the "ahead of his time" point.  He was ahead of his time - if you discount what people had been doing in blues for the previous 50 years (at least).

But I think we can both agree that his alternate tuning stuff was pretty damned cool.  Between him and Keef, that's how I came around to them.  So I'll always owe him a debt for that.

I will always owe him a debt for my fondness of hand-embroidered dragon suits made by 16 year old groupies.

  2. KFC in New Zealand was hands down better than any KFC in the States. Zinger Works Burgers. Spicy fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, bacon, pineapple, and cheese. Of course, I only ate them in between trying every fish and chip shop I could find.

Looks like Fortnite is now on Switch. So far, I’ve only been playing Mario Odysssy with my 5-year-old. What do I need to know, and what accessories do I need?

Said it before, but the first order of business is a tempered glass screen protector. Second is the biggest micro sd card you can afford.

    Quote

TC Electronic made news earlier this week, when controversy arose surrounding the name of a signature artist preset available on the company’s TonePrint app. Made by guitarist Satchel from the comedic glam metal band Steel Panther, the “Pussy Melter” preset could be downloaded from the app for use with the company’s classic Flashback Delay pedal.

Guitarist Jessica Fennelly started the conversation on Monday, when she posted an Instagram photo of the Pussy Melter’s listing on the TonePrint website. In part, the TC Electronic listing read, “When we met up with Steel Panther’s oh-so-humble guitarist, he had only one condition: that the tone be as wet as the ladies on the front row!

And.... I just found out they put him down today. When my buddy told me today that he wasn't eating, I knew where this was heading. RIP Murphy.

If y'all want to hear some of our stuff, search "L.L. Cooper" on itunes - that will direct you to our first "Old Hardin Store Road" and third "Dust Devil" album. Then, search "L. L. Cooper" for our second one "Tucson" (and my favorite). We all have day jobs but we are also dumbass musicians that can't use iTunes properly.

Man, I'm sorry. I'm a big dog person. I have three and most times, have at least two more staying at my house. It's such a kick in the nuts to hear that.

  6. They might. I'll look when I get home. That thing is built to some tight tolerances. I had a just a slight rattle that appeared when I really played it loud, after I first got it, but the screws holding the chassis in place just needed a quarter turn to tighten and that problem was gone.

  7. Guy on TDPRI had almost your same dilemma. Thought it might have been you, but he made his decision already. He was down to an Origin and the Princeton. Went and played both. Chose the Princeton. Just sayin'.

"What is it going to take to get you into a Princeton Reverb today?"
