  1. Thinned the herd by one guitar and one amp today. Thanks, Handcruser. Hope some kid who aspires to become the next great player gets a start from that amp.

Sold a guitar, donated the amp.

A&M does it by a mix of classification and first-come-first serve (or at least they did many years ago, not sure if its changed with the new stadium).

On Monday, Seniors could go pick up tickets at the stadium. Tuesday - Juniors, etc etc. If you wanted the best tickets as seniors, you camped out in line the night before. Wasn't a bad way to do it IMO

aggy's issue is the mad rush to the exits seven minutes into the 3rd quarter.

My daughter just called me at work to tell me that our Boston Terrier killed 2 squirrels in the backyard. One of them is...well, there's not much left of him. I've had plenty of dogs chase things but never really catch much. He's up to date on his shots but do I need to worry about any medical issues? Like, if he ate some squirrel, will he get sick?

He's been after the squirrels for months, I saw one taunting him on the fence yesterday. I guess he done fucked up.

Just keep an eye on him. Should be ok. If you have a concern, call your vet and ask.

I'm no law dog, and can see how a juror would easily go either way on her entering the apartment.

When and why she drew and fired (especially considering her "police training") is what would matter to me.

Take the apartment out of it....was she reasonable in drawing and firing in the given time and distance from him once "startled" and considering her other options since she wasn't cornered?

That's the question in my mind.  Shift the scene to the parking garage or CVS parking lot and he rounds the corner when she didn't expect someone to be there, etc.

That's the question of murder or not in my mind.  Was she reasonable in defending herself in that manner once startled; given the situation and his proximity, or should she have issued a command, backed out, called for assistance?

Should have ended with a "Sorry, my bad." But she felt emboldened by being an LEO.

You obviously don't know many aggy.  They are and will continue to be ecstatic about being in the SEC for 3 distinct reasons, and that won't change any time soon.

    1.  They are 2-2 with wins at Lamar and TxSt and they are ranked.   SEC bias on FULL display.   Since they haven't won anything of substance in 80 years, various rankings are their most important metric for their perceived success.

    2.  Riding coat tails and conference pride.  they can't win shit, so they run off to latch on to the most, recent success.   They hated losing to UT and OU because they have been doing it for a century.  They love losing to Bama because they are aggy.   Conference pride is as aggy as it gets

    3.  They hate us more than anything and losing 2 of every 3 games to us kills them.  They are also completely dilusional and fond of fabricating anything to create or perpetuate whatever narrative they are looking to push   With the move to SECx3 they can claim any fabricated advantage or victory over UT while completely dodging us on the field

    27-25.

Holy shit their roller coaster of hype and excitement will be thru the roof at the start of October with that schedule...

They live for the excitement of the drop. If they time it just right, they jizz all over their own faces.

Here's what boggles my mind:  The formula for success in College Station is not that complicated. Plenty of mid-tier programs have achieved temporary success, before their coaches who "got it" got hired on by better programs. But aggy never has -- and it's not because it's impossible to win there

No Frank Beamer or Bill Snyder is walking through that door, but that's what it would take there -- someone with a blue collar attitude, and a scheme just slightly out of kilter with the rest of the college football world, who could transform good, not great, talent into great teams.

That's not what aggy looks for, though. They look for "great" coaches who "get" them. The problem is, no coach who "gets" them that way is actually great, no matter how much they delude themselves, nor how delicious the press clippings sound beforehand. I was in my aggy boss's office when Fran got hired; he was happy as can be, and I told him at the time, "Suit yourself. That dog won't hunt." I'm not even a football genius, mind you, I'm just a run of the mill fan who could see what everyone not in maroon could see -- Alabama won the Great Fran War. Just like Florida State won the Great Jimbo War.

No one will win at aggy... because aggy. Lather, rinse, repeat.

They believe they are football royalty. While they may be correct in regards to the amount of inbreeding it takes to be royalty, they will never be able to succeed in a conventional manner, because aggy is not conventional. They're just too stupid to understand that.
