Only 2 episodes in, but I’m wondering how the FBI didn’t come in and throw cold water all over the task force and the obvious bullshit that it was extracting from Lucas.

Side note: Lucas would be a good character for the next season of Mindhunter.

Maybe because the head of the Department of Public Safety at the time had once been the number 2 guy at the FBI, and had a sordid history in that position.

    Keep watching.

So they're finally closing down the worst HEB in Austin S. 1st and William Cannon HEB. Where will all the poors in my hood buy their plastic gold jewelry? I guess they'll have to travel two blocks east to I-35 and William Cannon to what was formally the #2 worst HEB in austin, but will be the newly-crowned #1 worst HEB in Austin on April 3, 2020. I wonder how long that one will stay open with the one opening at Slaughter and 35?

It's ok. The Runberg HEB will gladly carry the torch as the worst.

It sounds like he’s going to have at least one more start, but I thought the “one game for the HOF?” narrative was pretty funny for Eli. When you have that many starts and you’re one game under .500 (after tonight), I feel like it negates the two Super Bowls argument. He’ll get in so it’s a moot point, but still funny.

They have a short bus wing of the Hall of Fame? Did not know that.

  4. There's a town on the North Island, Rotorua, built in the crater of a volcano that is not dormant. Smells like sulfur wherever you go, and the hotels/motels have baths fed by the hot springs. The entire thing seemed like a really bad idea. Could not wait to leave that town.

He can't change his voice, but other than that, Rod's a top analyst/commentator.

Can't change it, but he has obviously worked on it. He's definitely slowed it down a bit. I wasn't digging on him. He is far and away the best talent on that station.

100%.  He says more in 5 minutes than most of the other guys on The Horn do in 20.  I like almost everyone on The Horn, but Rod stands out, for me.

And he has worked on his elocution a lot. He was nails on a chalkboard to me early on.

We found out today that Finn has not grown out of his "I'm going to eat all the christmas ornaments I can reach on the tree" phase.  Wife went ballistic as a lot of them were family heirloom ornaments.

When it happens, immediately induce vomiting with 1 teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide per 5 pounds of body weight. Blue ate a bunch last year and got the hydrogen peroxide to her in the first 30 minutes and she threw up all the ingested ornaments.

that's because that dude works fucking hard. he brings some real strong analysis, imo. really does his homework, and comes to his show with a clear plan.

Not arguing. He has really worked really hard.
