Saw a few mentions of McD's on the thread and I'll weight in on that.  I serious question their future.  They won't go out of business because they're just too big but what is their reason for existence?  I'm forced to eat at one about once a year for various reasons and I'm reminded about how shitty they are.  The menu has been very stripped down to just breakfast and burgers.  Their burgers aren't close to being as good as the other burgers chains.  They also have a lot of legacy real estate in bad locations.  They missed out on the chicken sammich craze and I'm not sure how.  Chicken consumption has been steadily growing the past 10 years and what does McD's not have?

They'll try to make one of the next few years and run into procurement problems.

The one in Caldwell, Texas makes a legit double quarter pounder with cheese. Tastes like it's cooked on an old flat top. Nice char on the meat, and juicy enough to run down your arm.

If it's advertised at $2499, if they have a model with a blemish, they mark it on the pics, and usually they are almost nothing. You could get them down to $1799 on that.

I think that is one of the reasons the pharmacy moved. She objected to the gelatin in gel capsules, the pig thyroid in old school thyroid tabs, etc.  also tried to  tell them they couldn’t treat for ants and other pests.

    Username checks out.

The State Farm ones with Rodgers and the agent are so stupid. It’s analogous to a joke that when first told produced a slight chuckle. The teller has nothing else so he keeps telling the same joking, making it more elaborate but with same, now tired, weak punchline.

It’s also got that old school idea that whatever the fuck you are hocking, have a lunk head jock do it. Once that runs out of steam, do you start over with a fresh premise? He’ll, no! Add a second lunk head jock. Because two famous guys who have absolutely not a fucking thing to do with insurance are better than one!

Plus, it's like they didn't want to pay Patrick Warburton to play the agent, so they found the cheapest actor who kind of looked like him they could find.
