    YBG just destroyed that ball!

Yes she did! I love that sound when she unloads on a ball.

How does she compare in terms of heavy arms in program history? I know Faucette had a heavy arm. I'm not as familiar with players prior to 2006. Did Sance hit a heavy ball?

If Shook can't handle it, bench her.  Otherwise, run a 6-2 and figure it the fuck out.

He's experimented with a 6-2 in past seasons. And this year he doesn't even try it when it's clear to most that it could benefit the team. Strange.

  3. Celtics will beat the Warriors in the finals.

    1. Key to beating GS is dealing with Steph Curry.  Boston has several people to throw at him on defense led by Marcus Smart.

    2. They have a small ball line-up that will give Curry problems.  Celtics can put Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Morris and Horford on the court.  Steph will have issues guarding any of those guys.

    3. Leprechaun Shit.  Whatever breaks the Celtics need to win the series will fall their way.  People that know Celtics lore know what I'm talking about.

I write all this as a life long hater of the Celtics.

Unbreakable is one of my favorite movies. Never saw "Split". Had no idea that it was tied to Unbreakable at all.

    What you guys wrote.

I do think the NBA missed a real golden opportunity to showcase a level of commitment to this issue for example creating a new campaign aimed to target these issues with say an NBA task force (even a new executive position perhaps just for this issue at the NBA) and set of guidelines and standards signed by all NBA owners in unison for all NBA teams with new reporting standards and many other changes that could have been a great PR move for them.  The NBA has always been so superior to the NFL in being proactive with many issues, but I think they missed a good chance here.

Could Dallas be the outlier in this? Other franchises might already have their policies in place?

I'm asking because, like you, i think the NBA has been proactive in addressing many issues and would be surprised if they missed here.

Stupid coaching...keep track of your substitutions especially at the end of a set...

That's why you train 6 rotation players....and sub in those DS's when those players are struggling...

And WTF do they work on in practice?  It's not Serving...it's not passing...

Elliott and his staff should be embarrassed for putting that shit show out there!

    That's what I was wondering.

The names have changed but the play remains the same.  Ridiculous.

Skylar Field is ranked the #1 player in the country for the class of 2019.

Logan would have probably benn ranked #1 if she didn't reclassify.

Molly Phillips came in at #16, but most believe she is the best MB in the class.

The run Coach Elliott has been on at UT has been a joy to watch. Especially the period since Destinee and Ashley arrived on campus. The talent level, the Final Fours, the 2012 title have been amazing. I don't take the success for granted.

But i have to admit that between now and the end of the 2021 season if their is not another NCAA title i will feel some disappointment.

The 20 blocks is why we need to keep the ball in play. We can win matches with our block.

When we struggle from the service line and commit a bunch of hitting errors we deserve to lose.

Yes! It's so frustrating when they don't get the serve in. Especially late in a close set. Get it over the net and inbounds and give the block a chance.

I guess their reasoning is he is cheap and nothing to lose? But he is a net negative. It has been proven. He will actually make your team worse. Melo doesn't care about winning. He wants his shots and points. That's it.

Rocket fans will be tired of Melo 2 weeks into the season. If you're expecting him to embrace a bench role and be productive off the bench y'all are in for a rude awakening. If you're expecting him to gracefully share the court with CP3 and Harden without slicing into their share of the pie y'all are in for an even bigger rude awakening. Blame Westbrook, Donovan or whoever for his shitty 17-18 season, he's been on the decline for some time. Last season it accelerated and I wouldn't blame the coach or the players he was playing with. D'Antoni couldn't keep him happy as the #1 option it'll be hilarious when Melo inevitably begins to turn the locker room against him.

I get where yall are coming from. That's been Melo most of his career.

However, he's experienced a lot of shit off the court. How has that changed his thinking/approach to life in general? Is he now just seeking a place where he can be at peace, have some happiness?

As others have pointed out, not much risk for the Rockets. It'll be interesting to watch how it unfolds.

Were any of the previous 3 fired, or did they just change teams?

    Karl and Schayes were fired.

Riley likely would have been fired. That was the end of the Showtime Lakers and they were tired of his military style.

oh damn, they picked up trevon duval for the summer league team.  there were duke games i watched this year where i thought he was the best player on the court.  granted, there were many more where he clearly wasn't, but he definitely had some moments.

Same for me when i watched a cpl of their games.

Huge fall for him to not even get drafted. But i think he finds a way to stay in the league at some point.
