So, a “big news day” for college football recruiting board in May consists of:
1. Interpreting the underlying meanings of emojis tweeted by high schoolers and/or cryptic messages tweeted by randoms like Will Whatshisface.
2. Frantically refreshing the twitter page of the guy who says “Shh” but then doesn’t publicize the actual news.
3. Reading EJ’s daily post about hipster coffee and hedging all possible outcomes for recruiting.
4. Posting cat memes and safe for work Kate Beckinsale pics.
You know what, the thread police needs to take a sabbatical until about two weeks before signing day. Because this is just sad. Y’all motherfuckers need more “off topic” discussion, and Jesus.
Get lost bitch you need to take a timeout

I can always count on you to keep this thread aligned.
That and keeping your mom aligned I'm on top of it.

Per TFB, today's shh was a 2020.
So this should be on the 2020 thread not on the 2019

If the staff thinks Card is a QB, I wonder if 2020 becomes a 2 QB class if Bryce Young goes elsewhere.
Yes. Card is not going to be a single qb take. That would be like Locksley all over again, but Hornsby and Card is a great qb class.

Someone tell Herman to go get Hunter Johnson. Perfect fit.
Cue the rising and Thompson transfer in 3,2,1

Yeah, I don't think the silent who spposedly will announce on Saturday is Smith. I wish it was!
Wiley?
No its not Smith he is committing after his June 2nd OV

Is Cain an early enrollee?
If not, I could see him committing at his all star game.
I believe he is an ee and there was at least one guy last year who signed and then announced at all-star game i.e. bonitto. Fuck you chip

I'm calling Jake Smith for the shh
He's the one that is already outstanding. This is a new one

He mentioned his cousin Jeff Carter, is this the same Jeff(ery) Carter at Aledo?
Yes

Slow news day my friend.
I believe EJ CB'ed Young to OU recently. They appear to the momentum right now.
And he's a 2020 recruit so take that to the other thread

Catalon's response to teammate Carter being offered

Smith on his usc ov

Is there a live feed of nana's announcement?

We'll see. The culture aspect will be tough to overcome, but a good season on the field plus the close-to-home angle gives us a shot to chip away.
Who knows he may pick Texas today and then we better hope his family doesn't let him flip

Regardless of what NaNa picks today, I don't think this one is just over yet.
It's over he's not the type to flip flop. His family is very grounded doesn't seem like the type to let that happen

Odd given that Steele didn’t list us in his top schools. Must be lurking real hard
He's visiting in July and then it'll get real interesting

Sure, but given the staff is scouring the country for DEs, isn't it weird that dream school blue chip kid hasn't popped up on our radar before now? I would think he would've reached out to the staff a while ago even if they missed him.
How do we know that Texas is his dream school?
-
Catalon going to outgrow safety?
-
I still have a feeling we are in it for Steele and I would bet he visits right after the fourth of July

From the outside looking in, it was mentioned as a possibility, which it was. He could have had a hard timeline for his commitment, and it was plausible that the staff wasn't ready to take his commitment yet. However, Jason Washington continuing to recruit him dispels that notion.
Jason continuing to recruit him doesn't mean that we suddenly are ready to take his commitment. You must keep a guy warm if you think you'll comeback to him later, it's all about the long game.

This. We pulled in the greatest DB class of all time on paper. I wouldn't go here either...We're more than fine with the DB situation
I think this has more to do with Texas slow playing his commitment. It's a very weak year in-state for corners and I think the staff has their eyes oos
