Talked aggy commit Josh Ellison today and he said Jimbo has never directly said that visits to other schools were off-limits. Something interesting that he did say was that he would love to get offers from Florida and Michigan. Doesn't sound all that firm in his commitment.

And if you get both, you get them for two...TWO years!
Which can be a bad thing if they are dead weight

TTU commit, Kesean Carter, out of the Woodlands ran a 10.22 as well. Mucho speed in the state this year.
The wind was a huge factor and that's why guys were running crazy times.

Baylor football signee runs the fastest 100 meters in State history: 10.04. He has good size, too.
The wind aide is why this won't go down as the fastest nationally. Wind factor was a +3.2 when the most it can be and still count is +2.0

Has anyone posted the 247 article on Jake Smith's discussion of his final two?

And let's not forget the two soccer teams (for anyone who watches soccer. Me.)
It's fine to watch soccer, but MLS is garbage and indefensible. It's the premier league or nothing.

Any word on if Bragg came by or is going to after he throws at state this weekend?

Sounds like we're in first, but SC will get their shot. We just have to avoid a literal come-to-Jesus moment like Nana and ND.
We get the final visit and I think this is the shh that Carrington tweeted out the other night

QB: Roshon Johnson
RB: Cain and?
WR: Whittington, Smith, Wright and?
TE: Liebrock, Wiley
That skill position class is elite

I have to tell you, I honestly laughed out loud when I read that Chris Steele post. What in the ever living fuck is happening in this cycle? They must feel pretty damned excited about landing multiple targets ahead of where they ranked him.
I'm not in the least bit concerned with db or s recruiting that is absolutely the least of our worries

Nelson, Omenihu, Hager (not sure if that's how things are going to turn out, but I'm guessing that's whom he's referring to).
I'm not sure they will all get drafted omenihu will based on size and potential. The thing with Giles is he gets the most out of what he has. These guys may not all play or be drafted by the nfl but they are going to play above their ceiling.

After we have three d-lineman drafted next year, Mr. Giles is going to come in here and slap everyone with his big black dick. Ask ur mom what that’s like
Who? I would love to know who these three d-line draftees will be.

In better news I think we can finally confirm that we dodged a character bullet:
It was stated n numerous occasions he needed to get out of Florida.

As a Tech fan who follows the program pretty closely, candor requires me to reply that no, KK is not a good recruiter overall. There were expectations upon his hiring that his age as well as overall happening guy reputation would serve him well on the recruiting trail. Hasn't been the case at all.
That said, we're talking about a QB here and that's the one area he's been relatively effective. Mahomes, Davis Webb (3rd rounder), Baker Mayfield, and Manziel are all guys he's had a hand in recruiting and developing. Even last season's weak sister Nic Shimonek signed a free agent deal.
In addition, Jacob Zeno has been listed as a Tech lean by even non TTU sites. My guess is that is not going to happen as Ga. is really recruiting him hard and he seems to keep extending his decision date. Visited TT multiple times though. Again, KK's job security is a concern.
Well he's def on the hot seat, the only reason they brought him back is because of the flop Texas took in the 4th qt. If they lose to Texas he was going to be fired.

Is Kliff a good recruiter but not really head coach material?
below avg recruiter, Leach was recruiting at a much higher level. I think it's another example of a coach who wasn't ready to be a hc
