In other news, and you will notice this point of emphasis this year, but man, coach really coaches and never misses a detail. They were practicing situational football, and the 1st team O was going against the scout team D. Nick threw his third interception in the 20 minutes I was able to watch, but this one didn't appear to be his fault as it glanced off Daylon Mack's helmet. Man, coach was really teaching Nick about his chin level and not crossing his eyes, and it is a good thing coach coaches fast, because at the same time, Koda Martin  collapsed on the field. Now under the old regime, he would have been there a while or at least until the next song changed, but the attention to detail of coach noticed this before the next play, and saved his life.

In all seriousness, good luck to the kid. Heat stroke is brutal and tough to fully recover from.

Guessing they don't have a pee chart on the wall

Per Brainiacs awhile back, some people around Wax's program said that Demani was as fast as Reagor. While this is undoubtedly hyperbole, he's a freaky safety/rover Overshown type with a high ceiling. I'm not sure who's the better overall safety prospect yet, like Bill I'd like to see more hudl from both doing safety things, but I doubt he's as good of a pure athlete with the physical potential of Richardson.

As to whoever said we're likely taking four DBs, I'd bet on five, or at least four DBs with an "athlete" who's more likely to play DB than WR. We'll play five DBs the majority of the time going forward, and we'll play six DBs more often than we'll play four. The position should probably be thought of as being similar to OL where you need to take big numbers every year.

took 6 last year, and losing 4 seniors this year. The # is likely 4, but if you hold a spot for someone elite.

Cremo would be awesome. We have to be in it with all the playing time available. Especially if roach declares.

(On the past shooter discussion...damn I miss j’covan. That guy was fun to watch play)

Roach isn't declaring unless he wants to be stuck in the g league. He's not nba material

Do we shut it down with Watson and Catalon, if we strike out on the 5 stars they are chasing. I guess Cine would be a take as well, probably over Richardson.

It's more than likely 2 safetys 2 cb. Watson is going to be a Swiss army knife that could play cb or safety

Wiltfong did CB Chris Steele to USC. That's one I'd worry about.

Until he visits nothing about him matters. Might as well put him in the non Texas recruiting because it's meaningless till then

I think we'll need 3 things to fall in place for Green to pick Texas.  Having aggy's DC's brother on his coaching may make it difficult for Herman.

    1. Win 9-10 games

    2.  Aggy needs to win 7 or less

    3.  Land Sheppard.

Good thing we don't pay you to think or for anything else you might think you could provide this board

J Gray was a beast before his injury. If he never got that injury he could be an NFL starter right now. It just robbed him of all his burst and top end speed. Sad.

Wrong he was doomed when he got 40+ carries a game in hs. Came into college with two busted shoulders

Texas thinks Wilson can play that hybrid slot. I think he "can" but don't think that is his natural position. He plays X for LT but I think he projects to Z at the next level.

Whittington is being recruited as the slot for this class
