Brown. Like diarrhea. Which is what comes out of his mouth. Clemson? Dabo hasn't used the portal, and Dabo's former advantage of cheating at a high level has gone away now that everybody can pay players. Their senior class is generally a pre-NIL class, so if you look at their senior starters, they are good. But no portal and the stellar recruiting of the championship teams is not there. So much for Brown's "everybody's back" comment. Klubnik can be very good, but he has been erratic as well, which is one of the reasons they lost 4 games last year. Best QB in the country? I'm not sure he is the best in the ACC. Dabo doesn't have the assistants he had when they were winning championships, and they had more to do with championships than he did. Dabo is a good cheerleader however.

Fayettenam AR is called that because the unoriginal hog brains stole it from the real Fayettenam, which is in North Carolina and home to the 82nd Airborne. It earned that name during a certain "police action." a few decades ago.

Spurrier is just trying to stay in the news. If he had said something negative about aggy, no one would notice the non-newsworthy obvious comment. He knows that.

Dabo was selling real estate in Alabama before he became a position coach at Clemson. He somehow became HC without being a coordinator. When Spurrier was at South Carolina, they beat Clemson 5 years in a row--Dabo's first 5 years. Somewhere in that 5 years Dabo recognized that he could either cheat or get fired. Suddenly, 4 stars from all over the country decided to attend a college in upstate SC that is rural and generally white. Not hard to figure out why. The secret but not a secret is that Clemson boosters were funneling money to players through a church in the Clemson area. Illegal, but ingenious. The NCAA is not messing with a church, even if they had supoena power to do so. Dabo kept up with his holy holy stuff--I mean, he had a church on his side. We will see, but I believe Dabo's refusal to use the portal plus NIL allowing everyone to pay players has reduced Clemson's talent base. Decent team playing a weak schedule, but the idea that they are a top 5 team as some of the media say shows how little the media know.

This is like "which girl is least ugly."

He can negotiate a plea bargain and affairs, but maybe not employment. "Evans was arrested for DUI on June 30, 2010. The passenger in the car, then 28-year-old Courtney Fuhrmann of Atlanta, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Evans was asked for his resignation and agreed to resign from UGA." Courtney Fuhrmann was not a relative, if you get the drift. What kind of school hires an AD fired by Ugag? Getting arrested is just part of being affiliated with Ugag's athletic department.

Two of the three marquee schools in the conference? marquee /mär-kē′/ A large tent, often with open sides, used chiefly for outdoor entertainment. A rooflike structure, often bearing a signboard, projecting over an entrance, as to a theater or hotel. A large field tent; esp., one adapted to the use of an officer of high rank. First, don't ever compare Texas to those flea bags again. Second, I have no idea what you meant by it. Third, To Hell With Georgia.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]

No "modern day Wooden" will ever exist. It used to be that the tournament regions were the actual regions. No one in the West Region was any good except UCLA. He had an annual cake walk to the Final Four, which made recruiting easy. He was an excellent coach, but so many of those UCLA tournament wins would not have happened in today's set up. -
When a visiting team shoots 55% on the home team's court it shows that the home team wasn't playing good defense. As the saying goes, defense is about "want to." The players didn't "want to." Coaches frequently get too much blame from fans, but it this case, it's on the soon to be former coach.

I have my doubts about this list. Most watched ACC teams from last year? Miami number 1; Georgia Tech number 3. UNC was way down the list. There are 5 FBS schools in NC dividing the viewership. The historic ties of the NC schools to the ACC will be hard to break. 247 reported at the ACC meetings in 2022 that the school the Big 10 was talking to was Georgia Tech, which surprised everyone. But being an AAU school matters to the Big 10. Miami is also an AAU school. Clemson and FSU are not. Miami and Georgia Tech are in major TV markets that are also hotbeds for recruiting. There are huge numbers of Big Ten alumni in metro Atlanta. I could see Clemson and FSU in the SEC, although they would be dumb to do so in my opinion. Clemson would have never gotten in the playoff this year as an SEC school. They didn't beat South Carolina.

Going back to the very first post in this thread, it's very easy to criticize the play call with the hindsight that they were going to blitz both inside linebackers. However, an experienced QB should have read the blitz and checked into a different play, or he should have gotten rid of the ball and not taken a sack if the blitz was sufficiently disguised before the snap. Frankly, it was pretty ballsy of them to blitz both LBs on a first down play. Were we showing tendencies? Quinn has the athletic skills, but he has not developed his game management skills given his experience. Is that due to coaching or are his game management skills inherently subpar? Fans always want to criticize play calling because it's easy to do. However, there are far more moving parts that fans don't see. Any criticism of Sark should relate to QB development, or perhaps sacrificing the good of the team for a player's NFL chances (like Calapari does with getting players to the NBA).

Stat of the game is 2.5 yards per rush. That's on the OL. That has to improve or it will be one more game and done.
-
Averaging 2.2 yards per carry. Yep, all Quinn's fault.

Turn on the TV and the first thing I see is Coach Beamer complaining about a blown call by the Big XII crew led by Kevin Mar.
