Plus OTF has the trump of Gerry Hamilton. That dude is the best in the business.
I think Gerry puts in the miles to have real information and that is why he is so good. On the downside he gets to know some of these kids and their families so well that he gets enamoured with some of the recruits abilities so some of his observations have to be taken with a grain of salt.

What an awful layup attempt
Almost like he is celebrating in his mind and not focused on making a layup to ice it.

Why shoot a 3 when the team is 1 for 13 and going to the basket has started to work.

I don’t believe they challenged it in court, like the ACC schools. With TAMU, Texas, OU and others, the exiting schools basically said, “We’re not paying that. What’ll it take to make you happy, that we are also willing to pay?” With an understanding that nobody wanted to go to court.
Didn't all these schools leave just one or two years early. Had the BIG XII been worried they would have let things sit in court until the GOR had expired. I think it was more along the lines of Texas staying around the first time and this time it was about signing a new deal before the PAC12 and zero fear about the GOR being challenged.

The ACC leftovers that actually care about sports will merge with us in a “best of the rest” conference that should be entertaining in football and elite in hoops
If I were the SEC I would take Duke, Kansas, UNC plus FSU. That way with Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and UNC the SEC would have many of the the most storied football programs and most of the most storied basketball programs.
Before people start making the football argument I happen two agree with Chris Fowler that says the next step after all this realignment will be the Super 2 trimming the dead weight like Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Rutgers, etc. So in a two tier system you have the BIG football schools bring in the FB money and get tier one money and the BIG BB school bring in the basketball money and get a part of the FB money. The BB schools then serve as the schools one beats up on during football season yet they will be the ones with all the eyes during BB season.

We are used to these GORs being challenged by schools that already have new landing spots.
What schools prior to Clemson and FSU had challenged their GOR in court? I know schools had negotiated smaller exit fees but I don't remember them doing it due to the belief the GOR could be challenged.

I don't know about the rest of you, but after looking at the pics, watching a few vids and reading some 9.95'er articles I'm having trouble locating a single loss on our schedule. Can someone help me out here?

Its thoughts like these that crack me up yet have me shaking my head.
First, I’d assume the spring will get lots of reps to lots of guys. I’m pretty certain we’ve read references that Flood will move guys around for those reps too.
Then we’re talking about a better projected starter. Based on what? Are we talking about Neto and/or Hudson that have never proven they are better in game? And they’re only one year apart, right? Here’s a thought - how about the incumbent up their level of play.
It’s also entirely possible the staff values a bit more reliability in pass protection at that spot since that’s where Campbell struggles. We’re playing to win so playing time will be made with that in mind whether that looks like you think it should or not.Somebody else made the assessment my response was if you really believe that someone is much better than the starter than why would you leave spring practice having the better player think he is a backup. Read the post I responded too before making a comment that does not apply to the context of the conversation.

What would one do with a Geography degree? I think I'm kind of stunned that that degree exists these days. I have a 10 year old who is quite gifted in geography and I always tell him that that talent will be worthless outside of trivia night at his local dive bar.
I am of the opinion that all degrees are helpful. Some will earn you way more money than others. I have a family member that has been successful in business after dropping out after two years of college and has a kid that did not go to college at all and was being defensive. He said I did X, Y and Z and all I got is high school and asked did you learn those X, Y and Z skills in college or in high school. He said the two skills that really helped him to get started he learned in his two years in college. Now the ROI may not be worth it these days but in our day even a couple of years of college had a nice ROI.

Conner couldn't get push in the run game in the B12, I don't see how they are realistically going into spring thinking he would be a starter in the SEC. I would imagine either/both Neto and Hutson pass him in the spring or summer. They may keep him as a starter in the spring in order to keep from losing him in a transfer window.
I rather they give the better projected starter the spring reps because the other side of the coin is that we lose a great player to the portal because the better player knows he should have overtaken the player in front of him on the depth chart. Just like losing coaches is a good thing losing players because they lost their starting position will be a good thing. It will hurt depth but I rather not risk the better player.

Yep. Know a guy who left a bar and realized he shouldn't drive, so he decided to sleep it off in his driver's seat. Cops found him in the parking lot and arrested him because they said the key in the ignition showed intent to drive.
I did not buy this so I Googled it and it is worse than that in Texas they do not even require intent.
"If you are on private property and intoxicated, your vehicle may look like a good place to sleep it off. But don't put yourself in the position of appearing to operate the vehicle, or you may suffer a DWI arrest. Texas DWI law does not require your intent to drive somewhere."

This guy has two good lines:
Arkansas hiring Bobby Petrino is like Biden hiring Clinton to run his intern program.
Money can't buy happiness but that does not stop Texas A&M from trying.

I'm wondering what "success" Nebraska has had in the past 3 years under Alberts appeals to aggy?
Do they have some type of powerhouse NIL program? If so, what does it entail? I'd say A&M would be better off hiring an assistant AD from a better program, like UT, but the Ohio State braintrust just hired Bjork, so WTF...Quality sports administrators must be in short supply.
Pubes has football covered Trev is suppose to make them a volleyball contender.
