  1.         Chubster 8:56p A   Would it be possible to have President Donald J Trump skype in and talk to the team tomorrow before we play the Sips? Give them advise on how to win even the odds are stacked against them? WE NEED A WINNERS MENTALITY DAMMIT!!! I think it would work.

    Mother of god wow
  2. Standing in line for a sausage wrap and a beer - oh wait no beer - and heard one Aggie say to an Aggie kid — it’s a hard road. Dad Aggie looked at the guy funny and the funny looking Aggie said we blame my grandmother, she married an Aggie in the 30’s and now everyone in our family is an Aggie. The dad Aggie and kid Aggie walked away with a coke and whatever food they had.

  3. How were we against their pen in the game at station

Offense wasn’t really the problem it was first inning pitching only as I recall. Scored on them throughout. Just couldn’t overcome the 3-spot in the first.
  4. Made it to the game and convinced my ladyfriend to come with for the beer.... oops.

and the ump is suspect, real suspect.

And oh Texas Aggie? Is that like Santa’s little helpers, the Easter bunny, or some shit? No such thing, bitchasses.

  5. Ojo’s wife needs to step it up, wow. I mean I’m all for mutual respect and admiration and fuck the patriarchy bullshit blah blah blah but that crap — working long days, holiday weekend comes down to one day and your committed spouse says hey I want some easy going high quality family time and you fuck it up? Not cool. Super unthoughtful and kinda shitty. She needs one of her gfs to set her straight.

  6. That is one big reason I left the US, although I have a Texas state retiree plan when I turn 65.
Here I can buy most meds otc, and seeing a doctor and getting a course of antibiotics costs about $15. Most surgeries run less than $5000 so most expats self insure for accidents and emergency surgery as it is cheaper than a policy. If I did get something requiring treatment in the US I would just sign up when I get back and look for a job. Hospitals hold people hostage here for payment so you need to have cash or credit cards to get released.
I do have a Cigna Global policy that in theory covers everything including US visits and repatriation for $250 A month. But I am thinking about dropping it as I have heard from other expats that they seldom reimburse you, and do not directly pay the hospital outside Europe and maybe the US.

Where is “here” if you don’t mind me asking?
  7. I worked at one of the Texas Big Law firms that had defined benefit plans, they did away with it for new partners. A source of contention when measuring PPP for AmLaw100 rankings (always a tad lower than counterparts) and for new partners when they did away with it. I’d be surprised to find Big Law still doing defined benefit plans.

  8. This. I HATE sitting around and watching TV. I'm going to be shitty at retirement.

I don’t watch tv now hardly. Maybe 2 hours a week and once or twice a year I’ll binge watch a show.

I want to travel and work at the same time until I’m 60 ish, learn another language, immerse myself in another culture, fish, scuba, invest/do deals, play an instrument, play tennis, hike, play golf, surf, maybe learn how to sail a boat, and do all sorts other things. But I don’t see anything other than some amount of work giving me enough stress and problem solving opportunities which is what I need to stay balanced mentally.
