Petition to rename this thread ‘2021-2022 Texas Winter Weather Thread’ so we don’t get inundated with the usual Minnesota/Idaho/Colorado/Ohio/Iowa posters on here posting about their 26th snowfall of the winter?

Please Overlords, make this happen. For the 1 poster in Fairbanks I give you a salute.

Also consider if you have to go to foot for supplies or a better shelter.

My go bag has everything I need for 3 days(5 if I stretch it).

Even the dog has her saddle bags stocked for a potential journey.

Go 7 for you and make the dog carry 4 on their own. And remember the portable grill and silenced .22. You can always add a week of protein off the dog. (I kid, well not really.)

Another nice thing we keep in stock is USCG water. Here is a link for one of the products. Do that math. That is a lot of drinking water. Lets you use your storage for the shitter.

    Cuz, ya know.

I had two 5 gallon Scepter water jugs for camping.  Added 2 more just to have in the garage.  Yesterday I bought half a chord of firewood and told the kids I don't want to hear any bitchassedness about heaters.   That and an extra 20 propane tank for the grill will do it for our house.

    I like how you think.

Added water jugs so capacity is now 200 gallons. A few more layers of thermals and two heavier duty sleeping bags. They zip together so can get in them with the girlfriend. I always have extra charcoal around for the grills and keep at least 14 days of emergency food in the pantry. Biggest issue I ran into last winter was not enough beer. If I see something coming I will stock up early.

Due to my job I have a good collection of portable batteries, emergency radios, and field gear.

So @Lobo, gonna tell us what is coming next?

    Romans say hi.

Yes they did, but in the north, creating part of the broken structure that Islam took advantage of. Don't remember any stories of the Centurions fighting in the Kalahari

The Muslims beat the Europeans to carving up Africa by several hundred years.

North yes. Along the east coast they stuck to the coast building just enough buffers to control their trade towns. There never was a Congress of Jeddah like the Congress of Berlin.

Is Belichick a good coach? Very clear now who was mostly responsible for all that success.

Gonna miss some badass basketball games

I have YouTube TV and good comms. But you are right. I am sure I can work in a few urban overnight trips for the next month. I mean we have how many games left?

On that note, can we forfeit? Like the French?
