Oh I see now. Have to go to qb4 and 5 to allow the defense to make some plays.
1st team defense v. 5th team offense LFG!

Yet the XII is still on the field
Could have sworn the logos on the field were changed to SEC. Maybe for legal reasons, Texas had to change them back for this game.

Even if she loses tomorrow, I really hope Zeynalova chooses to play singles tomorrow. We need her to show some Ukrainian Strong Texas Fight.
-
Texas plays OKST tomorrow for the Big12 tournament championship.
-
Lots of tense moments, but Texas hangs on to win 4-2.
-
Responding well so far in singles. all first sets go to Texas
-
Zeynalova pulled out of singles again.
-
OU swept Texas in doubles. 1-0 Oklahoma.
-
Texas with a base running error well I never

4-0 win over BYU in the Big12 quarterfinals. All straight set victories. We'll play OKST tomorrow in the semis.

Is the thought that if she's able to play going forward that we could potentially contend for the NC?
We’re not one of the top 4 teams, so just to get to the final 4, even with a healthy Zeynalova, would require an upset. To win a championship they would need to pull off 2 more upsets. It’s a long shot with or without Zeynalova, so if you want me to give you a number I would give Texas a 5% of a national Championship with Zeynalova and 0% without her. With her, I think we are likely an elite 8 team with a chance to make the final 4. Without her, we are a likely sweet 16 team with a shot at making the elite 8. Thats my honest assessment

Listening to Joffee's post match interview, he said he will ask Zeynalova if she's good to play tomorrow and implied the ball is in her court so to speak. So, at least we know its not the coaches or trainers keeping her off the court.

Texas def. KState 4-0, but 4 singles matches went the distance to a third set. We'll need to play much better tomorrow against OU to avoid the upset.
-
KState wins 3 out of 6 first sets. We’re fucking around against a bad team. It’s windy, and KState is fighting harder through it than we are right now
-
Yeah Texas won the doubles point and Zeynalova played, but her set didn’t finish and she was pulled from singles.
It’s still so freaking windy in just like yesterday. What a horrible site selection to host the Big12 and NCAA championships

Oh, TCU making all the moves today

Van Lith is apparently headed to TCU????
That's....something. I guess that "everyone just fucking shoot 3s" offense appeals to her lol. Thank god we don't have to play them next year.
Also ideal because it does sound like the Cavinder who was going to transfer to TCU is considering going back to Miami to re-join her sister instead.
Yeah you called it
-
WOW! The Big12 ruled in favor of KState and overturned TCU's victory because of their lineup shuffle.
Texas will now play KState tomorrow at 3pm.

I know it would be controversial, but Trevor Bauer's suspension from the MLB should end this month. We need to be on the phone with him.
QuoteBauer's suspension, if it holds through the appeal process, would last until the 19th game of the 2024 season, by which point his three-year contract with the Dodgers will have expired. The Dodgers would save the $28-plus million that remains on his contract in 2022 and the full $32 million on his contract in 2023. Bauer was immediately placed on the restricted list and can't be around the team, even with a grievance hearing pending. The Dodgers are not allowed to release Bauer until after his suspension ends.

Is it still too early to panic?
Someone here a few weeks ago said we need to chill the hell out because we’ll be .500 by the end of April.

TCU won their first round match against KState today 4-3 and it lasted over 4 hours. KState has filed protest against TCU for possible lineup stacking. Texas will play TCU tomorrow in the quarterfinals unless KState wins their protest
