We’re here now-yesterday was 98 degrees with 95% humidity most of the day, just ruthless when our favorite activity to explore the city on foot.  So far Raw 167 delivered, we canceled a Husk reserve because the daily menu looked unremarkable, and we’re about to eat at Obstinate daughter after a morning at the beach.

I will say, I’m too old and too married to really care about the young 20’s talent but I’m a little surprised how many good looking young women abound.  If I was 20-30’s I think this would be an awesome place to work remotely or come work in tourism over  a summer break, far better than New Orleans in that respect.

the only place I seen hotter ass in effect is Scottsdale

I was prepared to do the Kingfish ball thing had it been a King but the deckhand assured us during the fight that it wasn’t a King or a Shark.  Both of the deckhands were just as excited as us. The guys at DSH do a great job of helping folks on the party boats.

Sautéed a piece tonight and it is excellent.

eat it raw, it is amazing

then take a hunk of it and blast all sides real quick and eat it rare, serve it over a nice salad

Fished Poc Sunday and Monday. Great time but slow. I caught 4 nice trout 21-26 Sunday , but the rest of my group caught a very little, and mostly garbage on bait. My son grinded with a topwater and had a few rat reds to show but that's it. Often one bite per wade. yikes

I could not find fish, worked and walked my ass and only found single trout here and there. The 26" was in maybe 12" of water, it burped up a slick and I smelled it and turned around, cast into the wind and stuck it on a jerk bait fished on top, saw it eat. That was cool, my son should have had that fish as I was fishing slightly deeper looking for school trout for our newbs but he fell behind. Maybe next time he will keep up.

Monday over in West Matty with a sw wind was no bueno. I couldn't do shit right or find fish. Looked great, lots of birds and bait buy just a trout here and there but small. Pull up to action up close and it's ladyfish. Caught a gafftop on a skitterwalk in knee deep water. Weird day. Happens. Had fun, was humbled

I'm a bit concerned about the fishery.....been fishing POC since 97, I put in a lot of effort wading, topwater, spoon, croaker, whatever the situation called for, and up to the freeze, every trip was successful. Can't say that has been the case since. @Mac8111 fair to say you're in the same boat too?

Mowing out back and saw this bad boy. I’m guessing rat snake? Was at least 3 feet long. (It’ll be 7 by the time I tell my buds about it)1d3a014b1683ae776111953e94de19f8.jpg

Been out of town for two weeks but my snek was in the same place only this time when I started taking pictures it decided to cross the street to avoid my ass. Neighbors said it’s been living there at least three years. Based on how often they see it/ it sheds. It avoids the RoadRunner—that lives down the street.
sorry for picture and video quality.

  5. Most of my tomatoes are 7 feet tall, some are over eight. I just started digging up potatoes and planting more cucumbers.

tomatoes were celebrity Cherokee, purple, better boy, and red snapper, the new one from H-E-B that got nice size medium tomatoes

$100 handshakes? Sure. Playing the game in basketball? Sure. Doing it in football? No. Your response and thought process are shitty and lazy and incorrect. And yeah, I'm fucking talking about this from an actual position of knowledge and have been posting about it since before Shaggy or Surly existed. I fucking wish Texas had either played the bag game or used their pious position to tattle to the NCAA constantly about it. They did neither.

But yeah, you don't know shit on the subject matter so spare us the declarative, condescending platitude of "everybody does it and your naive thinking otherwise." Some of you football board denizens are fucking lost.
