  1. I like the cut of your jib

I'd leave it up full time.

My tomatoes that are shaded are going wild, well over 6'. Those that don't get any shade are looking kinda beat up, thin, losing leaves on the bottom and maybe 4'. I water frequently so water or lack thereof is never an issue. Same plants from same vendor too, so I'm comparing apples to apples.

  2. Spring/summer free trip bender:

Kentucky Derby, San Diego, Isla, Bahamas, DC for the game, Sonoma, all air via SWA companion passed so 1/2 the price in points

You're either scamming, or you’re getting scammed.

My wife is running the same plays I am and we haven’t used a single one of her points and I still have 250K chase points and 320K AA points. Finding the time to travel is the hard part.

Reason to use the cross tie covered in creosote is that fuggers love to rub all over it.  Giant scratching post.  So make sure it's anchored deep.  I've seen them pay as much attention to the post as the corn.  Swivel is the key.  They'll bat that thing around like a tether ball.  Small holes allow for small amounts of fermented corn to be released.  So it can get wrapped around and break if not.  You set back away from your other feeders if you like.  Near water, etc.  On one, we also dug a deep hole and filled it with fermented corn soaked in big red.  Then buried it.  That drove them crazy.  They'd hit that spot for weeks.  Deer want nothing to do with it.

This man knows a little something about shanking the swine.

  4. Looks like it was a 10% cash bond of 250K according to this story, and that she is cooperating

    Highlights

Bail for Jaclyn Edison, the daughter-in-law of slain Austin jeweler Ted Shaughnessy, has been reduced.

Sources say Edison, 19, is cooperating with the ongoing homicide investigation into Shaughnessy’s death.

The bail for the daughter-in-law of a slain Austin jeweler has been reduced, and she is helping investigators unravel an alleged murder-for-hire plot against him, according to law enforcement sources.

The sources say Jaclyn Edison, 19, has begun cooperating with the ongoing investigation to find out who shot and killed Gallerie Jewelers owner Ted Shaughnessy in his southwestern Travis County home in March.

Prosecutor Amy Meredith said she could not comment on the specifics of the ongoing investigation. However, she said, authorities “have continued to follow investigative leads. Based upon that information, we have agreed to a bond reduction with all the conditions that we have requested.”

Edison is married to Shaughnessy’s 19-year-old son, Nicolas. Both face a charge of solicitation to commit capital murder.

The couple received national attention late last month after Travis County sheriff’s investigators charged them with the first-degree felony and released an arrest affidavit that included details of the steps police say the couple took to have Ted Shaughnessy and his wife, Corey, killed.

Nicolas Shaughnessy had told associates, according to the affidavit, that he could gain as much as $8 million in life insurance and property.

Prosecutors agreed to reduce Edison’s bail from $1 million to $250,000, with a 10 percent cash deposit, paving the way for her release from jail.

Edison was released Friday afternoon, but Nicolas Shaughnessy remained in the Travis County Jail on Friday.

Edison must wear an ankle monitor bracelet, surrender her passport and have no contact with Nicolas Shaughnessy, Corey Shaughnessy or a third person connected to the case.

She also must attend counseling and will have a curfew.

She had her bond lowered and was released for agreeing to cooperate with the investigation.  Called it.  And it’s still undefeated.

unbelievable, a judge just let her walk out of jail on her own recognizance .  They reduced it from 1 million to 250K, and then just let her go.  SMDH

Her bond was reduced. She was not “released on her own recognizance” which means a personal recognizance bond, a signed promise to,appear with no security (bail bondsman or cash). This is not necessarily an indication of cooperation.

A million dollar bond on this case is high, and would have likely been reduced on appeal had it not been reduced by the trial court.

  6. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office:

“A search warrant served on Mr. Winslow’s residence yielded a computer that indicated he had recently Googled the directions to Betty White’s home.”

  7. Winslow’s attorney denied the claim the next day, saying the former first-round pick had entered the community to house shop for his mother-in-law and had not entered any of the homes.

In a statement, his attorney said Winslow “emphatically denies committing any burglary. He would have no need to burglarize or steal anything from anyone at a trailer park.”

I made sure to tell her how nice her hair looked this morning. Come home from work and it's all chopped off. Now she's mad because I told her she looks like a little boy.

Seriously, you can't force me to like something I don't like. Especially when you are complaining about it.

That was her way of showing you that you were wrong. That your opinion sucks.

I'm sure the other person who cut it said it looked great, and she wholeheartedly agreed.
