About a month ago I saw a Waymo car in the Heights with someone in the driver seat. I had read they were running tests in Houston. Last night I saw a Waymo car driving down Shepherd that looked to have no one in it. This apparently has become a thing over the last few weeks.

at some unpublicized date, they will flip a switch and allow paying customers like with Uber. I would have to guess that it’s soon if driverless cars are moving around without problems.

Anyway that was the first time I ran across a driverless car.

7am weekdays, 9am weekends serving Tenfold beans and pastries from Kraftsmen. And yeah, you can get a morning beer, too.

Funny you mention that, I saw my first driverless Waymo last week on Shepherd too. Guess they're getting close.

Surprising development that as the Heights/GO/Oak Forest have become almost overly expensive, it’s become much more younger overall with families with small children. The amount of strollers in GO has to be at an all time high. It’s especially concerning seeing all the strollers being pushed on Alba in rush hour now that Alba is seeing more traffic due to shepherd and Ella being so crowded for nearby commuters. I’ve always thought it was criminal how the older element in GO fought against Alba sidewalks and won that fight. Home value > safety.

Do sidewalks decrease home value? Seems like it would be opposite to me.
