I was on a call the first 20 - saw the OG. Given that it should have been 1-0 in the first 1' I very much will take it.

Richy almost score within 40 seconds of the game

I don't know what Son plans for his future.  Maybe he wants to go back to Korea and just live, maybe he wants to be a coach, or he wants to live in LA? Who knows but if there is anyway to give him a permanent roll in this club then do it.

We really put the mid in midfield. We haven't had a competent midfield since Eriksen and Dembele. We have a collection of squad players with no real standout.

The link up play is non-existent and they're turnover prone.

Only guy in the midfield who can pass is Simons.

I don't know if Frank makes it to the FA Cup matches next month. This team has checked out. He's lost the room. There were rumors of this two weeks ago, but today it looks real.

We've offered nothing going forward, and even less on defense.

New coach, but with what team? Outside of a few guys, I don’t think any of these guys are his players, that he thinks “I have my guy!!”

This team needs a build for an identity. I don’t think this team is built for Frank’s identity for the team. It was barely built for Ange’s identity, if you could call his plan that.

Am I happy with these results? No. But firing him now does ZERO. And just kicks a can down the road another year or two.

Until we commit to a full top to bottom reshaping of this team, the whole organization is committing to being a mid-table team.

I agree, and I'm definitely not advocating for him to be replaced, but I do think the club will get rid of him before he can get his guys in. We're 2-3 transfer periods from having any real players, and that's only if we back Frank and get our 1st choice of targets and not settle for someone at the deadline just to be getting someone. I think we've done that a lot recently. If you want Gibbs White and Eze, get them! Don't settle for Simons at the last minute.

The real question is how is this new group going to run the team? And how do they see Frank in this plan?

Don’t get me wrong, if Levy was in charge, yeah we’re talking about the next guy already. But he’s out and we don’t know how the organization is being run.

This was a levy hire?

they might let it ride for the season. But if the new group is serious, They sell the new build to the guy they want.

maybe a pep disciple or an old name for a last hoorah

Frank was hired June 12th. Vinai Venkatesham was appointed in April and "joined" the team in June. You would think he would have had some hand in the hiring of Frank, but you never know.

Vinai did not want Frank.

He was against the hire from the start.

But Levy had ownership, leverage, and final say — so it didn’t really matter what Vinai thought. Levy hired who he wanted, not who the football side wanted.

Fast forward:

• Miss out on Eze

• Miss out on Gibbs-White

• Squad doesn’t fit the manager

• No clear identity

Levy gets himself fired.

Now Vinai’s sitting there like:

“I told you Frank was a bad idea.”

So now it’s Vinai’s turn. No more half-measures. No more settling. No more deadline panic buys.

New manager.

His guy.

His system.

His players.

Ball finally rolls on football terms instead of Levy terms.
