  1. The only thing frustrating about silent commits is that people still talk about them. They have always meant and will always mean exactly fuck all.
  2. Gary Robinson runs the pro shop at Highland lanes and those guys know their shit. He’s got several dudes trained up really well. Tony or Ramon also do a great job if Gary isn’t working, but Gary is there much more often than not.
  3. Special is too strong of a word. I should have put boutique exclusive in quotes, as I think it’s probably just a slight derivation from what’s widely available through any AD retail shop. But it gives them something they can claim is unique. It has a forest green dial that I had a hard time capturing with my iPhone camera. Here’s their image: It also came with the green rubberized strap and then they threw in the calf strap that is in my original picture. It’s a standard Luminor at the end of the day. I know the movement isn’t done in house and Panerai tends to be shit on by the elite watch enthusiasts, but I’ve always loved the ID and I’m happy to have it as a more casual option.
  4. Picked this up today. Boutique exclusive in Barcelona.
  5. Michael Williams anyone? While not on the level of most mentioned so far, his HS tape was reel after reel of hit sticks. I was positive he was destined for greatness.
  6. Call me crazy, but I prefer my Basketball Recruiting thread to have more updates on.....recruiting.
  7. 1924 and KoK taste nothing alike. I am frankly befuddled by the love for 1924. I got one of the first batch of bottles and thought it was absolutely nothing to write home about. Isn't it essentially just a rebranded Early Times?
  8. That makes more sense then. For me, it's a bit apples and oranges to compare the experience at Willet and the experiences at BBC. And different people will come away with different thoughts about which one is better based on their own preferences. The main takeaway is that you should do them both.
  9. Tell me you've never been to Bardstown Bourbon Company without telling me you've never been to Bardstown Bourbon Company. The bar at Willet is excellent, but you're doing it all wrong if you aren't making time for BBC. The restaurant and the whiskey library tasting experience should not be missed.
  10. Are our pets’ heads falling off or not?
  11. He was good, but ultimately not good enough. An important player in changing the trend line of the program, and he left it all out on field. Hook 'Em Quinn.
  12. You're being a massive cunt.
  13. I've been vocally critical of Quinn since he came back from the injury, but a lot of the these comments are fucking pathetic. Quinn was the reason we were even in that game. That was a really good D and they won a healthy majority of the 1 on 1 battles. You hang this loss around Sark's neck for going completely brain dead at the 1. Quinn was a flawed player but he left everything on the field tonight.
  14. And that’s on Sark, so we’re clear. That 2nd down call was an all time terrible call. Just atrocious.
