  1. That is not a statement about anything related to the team, but y'all are so intent on it being about the team that it makes what you've highlighted even more true.
  2. I have made zero claim about anything related to Card/Ewers or even the entire football team. I made a random cryptic meme-y post in the sub's sports thread that y'all are (very entertainingly) stretching into the stratosphere. If Sark announces a starter between now and then, I'll enjoy the ironic timing just as much as I enjoyed @OnAComputeraccidentally breaking the Arch Manning commitment. It's really not that serious, but my Venmo accepts $9.95 all the same.
  3. At least in the case of the Texas NIL deals I have been at least tangentially involved in, the contracts have to pass through university compliance before they can be formally accepted by the athlete just to make sure state laws are being followed. I'm sure aggy has more than a few instances of this process not being followed.
  4. About $400 for the most recent incident. @RGBIII and I had been in contact about it previously. I need to re-do the request because my initial deadline has long since passed.
  5. I've personally FOIA'd/PIA'd them for these current NIL contracts (didn't even ask for anything about 2022 recruiting) and been told I had to pay hundreds of dollars for them, only payable via cashier's check to be delivered via certified mail or in-person within 10 business days. Or in the case of my making requests for emails regarding their statue that was the focal point of many an aggy protest in 2020, they sent me 8 total pages of emails. The same requests at UT have come back for free, and requests for emails about the Eyes came back with literally thousands of pages. Texas compliance already has a rep for being frustrating, but aggy turns that shit up to 11-and-then-some.
  6. As it seems to be with basically every single one of these types of construction projects, they'll get it camera-ready on the outside in time for kickoff, but 90% of the shit on the inside will be roped off or still under construction into October.
  7. This got dug out of the weeds tonight...
  8. Wayyyyyyyyy ahead of you on that one. aggy is unfortunately (but unsurprisingly) slower to deliver the goods.
  9. There's a lot of (if absolutely nothing else) amusingly stupid ones. Someone compared it to the Taliban destroying ancient religious symbols.
  10. There are more than a few that are definitely not in good faith and a lot that didn't even make it into the Texas Tribune article.
  11. https://legal.utexas.edu/open-records-request I'm putting in a request now. I'll share what I get with you.
