Ha. I just logged back in and look at all the crap I'm taking.

nobody here is stupid enough to think we had the 4th toughest schedule in the country, or that had the 20th best team in the country, right?    Cause that's where Sagarin has us listed?  Sagarin is worthless and always has been.  His strength of schedule is trash.

Call a spade a spade. Aggy did play more top 25 teams (based on the CFP rankings) than us... and as expected, they lost every one of them.

Colley ranks you as 13th and A&M at 32[!??].  that's pretty disparate considering both played two playoff teams.

Texas has had some really tough schedules since the Big 12 went to round robin and that will continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. The B12 round robin is hard, and then you add another P5 OOC game, usually against another major program. Switching out the Cals and Marylands of the world for the LA Techs and the USFs hurts it a bit, but the bottom line is that 10 P5 games is at the upper end of the range in CFB, and Texas can't hide from anyone in their conference. If the landscape of the B12 changes and we see a drop off in the quality of coaching - no more Patterson, Campbell, Rhule, Snyder/Klieman, Gundy types at the lower tier schools - maybe that will change.
