Here's a few Rogan comments from his interview with Robert Malone, who is a known antivax liar and who told dozens of lies in his interview with Rogan. He lied about the dangers and effectiveness of vaccines. He lied about the effectiveness of alternate treatments. He lied about the effectiveness of covid tests. He lied about hospitals fraudulently classifying covid patients to get money from the government. He lied that the government is withholding monoclonal antibodies because they want more people sick. He even lied and said that the medical community didn't want to treat people with covid because doctors were afraid of being exposed. He does this because he wants to market and sell alternative treatments, which he says have begun clinical trials. Here's Rogan in response to all of Malone's bullshit: Rogan might be a complete fucking idiot who seriously believes all this shit, because he hears people criticize Malone and his instinctive reaction is contrarianism. That's not a fucking excuse. He's not just platforming Malone, he's enthusiastically endorsing conspiratorial and antivax bullshit to over ten million people during a fucking pandemic. Fuck him.26 points

exactly this. people have worn masks and gotten vaccines and tried to limit their exposure over the past 2 years not mostly because they are scared for their safety, but because they are decent people. It's what treating thy neighbor as thyself looks like during the largest mass death event in American history. The idea that they've done it because they are scared (and you haven't because you are brave ) is a lie you tell yourself because the truth is that the people who have fought alongside the disease for the past 2 years are just shitty people. Whether it's because they're too stupid to understand or too foolish to not be easily tricked by obvious charlatans or they just are inherently bad or some combination of the above, it doesn't really matter. Get fucked.19 points

If we treated this vaccine like every other before it and required it to attend schools and public places, then this would have been over a long time ago. We also need a comprehensive approach to the third world countries to stop any mutations. Anyone who says we shouldnt mandate this shit is a fucking idiot. This was politicized by a fucking orange buffoon and no one who opposes mandates can explain why with any sort of rational or reasonable basis. Its just fucking stupid. If any President before or after had been President at the time the shit hit the fan, we would have required masks everywhere, we would have mandated the vaccine, and we would have focused on getting the vaccines to third world nations. There would have been no hesitation, no complications. It would have saved millions of lives around the world. The idiot anti-vaxxers and anti-mandaters would have stayed in their basements and been told to shut the fuck up. And everyone would have moved forward without all of the stupidity that we currently are dealing with because an orange con man didnt want to lose an election more than he cared about public health. There are no two sides to this. We went to Italy in November and it was wonderful. Everyone wearing masks. Everyone showing their vax cards to get into places. It was amazing to watch everyone act normal like it used to be - everyone pulling together to take care of each other and allow the world to move forward.15 points

Eric Dickerson Finally Tells the Truth About That Gold Trans Am An excerpt from his new memoir, Watch My Smoke By Eric Dickerson with Greg Hanlon | January 18, 2022|9:17 am https://www.dmagazine.com/sports/2022/01/eric-dickerson-finally-tells-the-truth-about-that-gold-trans-am/ What he doesn't say is what SMU gave him to make the switch. Had to be more than 50k. It's hilarious that he calls out aggy for their yell leaders. And here we are, 40 years later, and they're still trotting out the milkmen. Obligatory photo:10 points

Some might have been afraid, but I believe a large majority wanted to protect their fellow man. But you are correct, there is nothing controversial about this. With a milder strain blocking out more potent strains, it is safer now. This hopefully will be the endgame. that being said, you have a documented anti-safety and anti-vaccine posting history, so most people don’t like you and assume you’re trolling.9 points

I met Earl at a book signing at Rooster Andrews a long ass time ago. They were giving out free EC Sausages and tea while the public waited in line to meet the man. I got him to sign the brim of my 90s era paint splash Longhorn cap and a copy of his autobiography for my Dad ("Peace and Love, Earl"). I remember so clearly how HUGE his hands were. He shook my hand but he could have easily just shaken my entire forearm. If there is a bigger Texas legend (not just UT, but State of Texas), then I haven't met him. True, most officers aren't that bad, they're more like the three who stood and watched and did nothing about Pullease's actions either toward the arrested individual or his fellow officer. So heroes.8 points

Ron gave me the time, his advice, and career guidance that took me from a weekend intern at KXAN to a full time producer for ABC Sports and ESPN in less than five years. Always enjoyed those occasions when I’’d bump into him in a press box or locker room somewhere. He was a very kind man. RIP.7 points

Good read, but I’ve never heard anyone blame Rick for losing the Georgia game. I’ve heard people blame everything from Edwin Simmons’ knees to Akers leaving the defense on the field for a 4th-and-25 punt (with no instructions for Craig Curry to not attempt to field his first punt ever 😑) to Jeff Ward’s multiple missed FGs to no holding call when Mark Lang was tackled on Georgia’s winning TD run to Jitter Fields falling on - but not securing - the fumbled punt…but not Rick McIver’s play. Yes, I’m still triggered.7 points

What's really funny is that in all of our discussion yesterday I forgot that Manchin actually fucking wrote the voting rights bill he's now stonewalling. THEY LET HIM WRITE THE FUCKING BILL and "reasonable centrists" are still saying it must be too far left because he won't support it. Thanks for confirming my 100% vibes theory.7 points

And just to be clear - liberals are kinda sorta triggered about Rogan promoting disinformation to millions of idiots, but the BIGGEST trigger for liberals is when smart conservative alpha males drink their own piss and then die of a disease for which their is a free cure. Drives us fucking bonkers, it is fucking hilarious dudes.7 points

Side 1: Joe Rogan spreading vaccine disinformation is bad (and to a lesser extent, platforming white nationalists and propagandist is bad) Side 2: Why does he bother you? He’s just a comedian and podcaster, not a doctor. You liberals are triggered. Just don’t listen to him Is spreading vaccine disinformation bad? (yes/no) Is Joe Rogan spreading vaccine disinformation? (yes/no) Does being a podcaster excuse one from spreading vaccine disinformation? (yes/no)6 points

No, I am actually not. However, assholes like you who spread vaccine misinformation and lies do piss me off. I am pissed that we are two years from the start of this pandemic and we are still fucking in it because of fucksticks like you and the stupid people that are dumb enough to believe your bullshit. Go fuck yourself.5 points
