God fucking damnit motherfucker. I've been happily lurking on this board for years but your disgusting fucking verbal flatulence about "but but but he's winner and he hurt his thumb :(" have forced me to create an account and respond. My friend played with this chatch so I can confidently inform you that he's a bitch who spends more time whingeing about bullshit than he does watching film, which since you're such a Casey apologist, you probably think is somewhere North of 16 hours a day. Dumbass. Basically all this fucking guy did was tweet some woe-is-me bullshit about his thumb anytime he sucked ass which was anytime he played a defense that wasn't more limp than your tiny dong. "look at his thumb that's a bruise" yeah that was also from when the injury happened and then they tweeted it 5 weeks later after he looked more inert than my dumbass nephew's flag football league qb. Dude frolicked around belmont like he was the second coming but couldn't complete a 6 yard out route. Do something productive with your time instead of flapping your jowls and bloviating about Texas football's equivalent of terminal prostate cancer last season. Jesus.78 points

When Bama lands Addison, then we can all laud how awesomely talented they are offensively. Until then, I'm on the side that says they're of course going to have dudes that can play on offense, and Young is a 1st round QB, but it's not the kind of firepower they normally show up with in most seasons. They also have Buttchin O'Brien calling the plays. I'll write more about my certainty that Texas is going to fucking roll Bama during the week of the game when I publish my paean to Steve Sarklostagain titled "Why Texas Stomps a Mudhole In Alabama's Ass & Forces The Crimson Tide Hillbillies To Gargle Our Balls".19 points

Correct. They happen TODAY because laws, proposed by numerous GOP officials including sitting US senators, have not been passed yet/become fully effective. But, now they can be. And in any case, once they do, my wife and her physician would be subject to having a criminal investigation opened on them both questioning whether the medical procedure was truly necessary. A woman, going through one of the most traumatic experiences of her life, would absolutely 100% be subject to police questioning over the event to make sure that it wasn't an unnecessary medical procedure, as determined by super-objective GOP officials like Ken Paxton. Fuck you and fuck everything about you and your pathetic life. The cruelty, domination, and control that you so crave will one day come back and bite you in the ass.18 points

Maybe some of it was hype, idk...but what I do know is there was a noticeable difference in accuracy and velocity on many throws after the thumb to the helmet incident. It was downplayed by the coaching staff and even Casey himself throughout the season, I wasnt paying attention to his gooner father or FCB. Casey Thompson was an entitled whiny bitch with a noodle arm and limited athleticism. He is Casey Appleblack. His dad is a convicted felon with his hand out and a chip on his shoulder. Thompson showed late to meetings and didn't often care enough to get fully familiar with the game plan. Teammates didn't like him, he wasn't a leader, and he demanded to be named the starter heading into 2022 or threatened he would transfer. They told him to go shit in a hat. The thumb injury is quaternary nonsense to all of the other bullshit that wet blanket brought to the party.18 points

This topic is always brought up in bad faith. There has not been a single serious proposal to require churches to perform marriages they don't want to perform. It has always been about marriage licenses under the law which provide the relevant legal rights. The ceremony can be performed by pretty much anyone. "Deputized by the state" is a weird way of state it, but all that is really required is a sign off on the certificate which is the relevant legal document. It's always been just more imaginary victimhood from the whiniest bunch of snowflake cunts around.17 points

Ok--can we get more footage of quadcopters dropping mortars on unsuspecting Russians? Because that has really become my favorite genre of war video.14 points

Jesus Christ on a fucking cracker. Did someone invite the fucking football board over here? If I wanted to watch miserable plays from last year’s miserable games I’d be on fucking YouTube. Cease and fucking desist with this fucking horseshit. Thank you in advance for your fucking attention to this fucking matter.13 points

The right to privacy is dead now. You don't get to torch the entire forest and say "oh, but I don't want THAT tree to burn." Every legal scholar worth a shit reads Alito's opinion the same way -- his "but abortion is different" statement is meaningless. The reasoning of the court functionally voids the right to privacy that is the basis of Obergefell, Lawrence, and Griswold. States can and will act contrary to those holdings in multiple respects, and they will prevail before this SCOTUS. Likewise, if/when the GOP takes control of Congress and the WH, they will pass federal laws doing similar things, and those laws will likewise prevail before this SCOTUS. You don't get to order your destruction of individual rights a la carte. You have to choke down the whole buffet, and it's full of shit sickening enough to make Shoney's blush. You get a world that looks a whole lot like the pre-14th Amendment landscape -- Dred Scott, Fugitive Slave Acts, all that shit. States can and will prosecute citizens for traveling to another state to get an abortion, get birth control, etc. Your California same-sex marriage? It will no longer be recognized in Texas. Texas will not only refuse to recognize same-sex relationships, it will ban companies from providing benefits to same-sex couples. We don't have to guess about any of these things. States have already done all of these things before, and/or stated their desire to do them again.13 points

Well it's what you voted for so, too bad? I'm not sure how you could read the draft opinion and not see that Obergefell and Lawrence v Texas aren't next. Like I said earlier, if you vote for chrisofascism, you don't just get the parts you want. You get it ALLLLLLLL. So own it, you bastard.13 points

"Oh but we don't want to out law it for these kinds of cases, just all the other ones!!!" OK. Well, who do you think is gonna do the urgent procedure when YOUR wife or daughter needs one urgently to save their life? Your choice will be the 3rd year resident who read about it in a book a few month ago, or the 70yr old semi retired GYN who performed one 5 years ago. Which are you gonna choose? I am a physician who does procedures for a living. If I don't do the same procedure routinely and frequently I notice it very quickly. We also have to do a minimum number of cases annually or we lose hospital credentialing to do a specific procedure. I don't know how any docs in red states are gonna have the numbers to maintain credentialing or proficiency to do these procedures for any circumstances.12 points

One player called him "Fakey Thompson" directly to me, he also sounds like Bo Callahan from the Box office smash hit "Draft Day" minus the Browns trading 3 firsts to go draft him first overall without actually scouting him whatsoever, then choosing to draft a linebacker first overall instead, but then trading 3 seconds to take him fifth overall, before trading that pick to the seahawks for their original selection and then taking a running back. That movie is ass but ya, I agree, none of his teammates went to his birthday10 points

Here’s the thing about Republicans: they no longer understand principled reasoning. Everything is outcome-driven with them. So of course some dipshit like Sack can’t fathom how the logic of this ruling paves the way for the denial of other analogous rights. He’s not accustomed to logical consistency or principled analysis; the only thing he understands is disingenuous pretext to justify a desired result. Dude is understandably legitimately baffled by the studied criticism of this ruling. His brain isn’t wired to understand objective, consistent rationale. Either that or he’s gaslighting along with Alito, which is equally probable.10 points

I honestly hate our move the SEC. Texas had its own mythos with the west and the alamo and shit which allowed us to create an image that protected against the worst of the worst impulses of the south. Now we are mind melding with the rest of the garbage states of the union. Texas of 20 years ago would not have done this -- we leave the confederacy bullshit to the alabamas of the world. (in fact, texas had the only 'confederate' senator vote in favor of the civil rights acts). Now we are no different than them.10 points

Yuuuuup. This war has shown just how much artillery still rules the battlefield. NLAW and Javelin and STUGNA etc are absolutely awesome on the small scale, but the big guns are defining the lines of battle. Ukraine getting western equipment with better range than what the ruskies are using to lob shells, means exactly that^ the threat of counter battery fire coming from beyond your own range to hit.... game changer. The M549 shells we sent over (The M549 is a High-Explosive Rocket Assisted (HERA) 155 mm howitzer round) has a range of 19 miles / 30 kilometers https://en.defence-ua.com/news/m777_howitzers_with_rocket_assisted_projectiles_in_ukraine_taking_revenge_on_bucha_massacre_along_with_irpin_and_boyarka_photo-2811.html that's a 5km buffer to be able to hit russia's most common howitzer MSTA. And those rounds come in very accurately combo'd with drone sighting in, not some grid square deletion MLRS type deal. Happy hunting men! Fuck em up. Not sure if we will be sending them precision guided kit equipped rounds, but what they can do with big guns in this day and age is pretty spectacular https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1156_Precision_Guidance_Kit 50 meter area accuracy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M982_Excalibur 4 meter area accuracy, 4 fucking meters 30+ miles away from a 155 mm shell. holy fuck9 points

Had a union guy from Phoenix rent from me while he worked at Samsung awhile back in Austin. Good dude, loved the price of groceries, LOVED guns more than anything in life. I let his wife live with us, like it was a goddamn commune. Worked crazy fucking hours tho. Like 12-14 hours a day. They finished 2 months ahead of time and were Union crews. Wife makes a great fruit salad and had a solid rack. Your post had zero context, so does my reply.9 points

This is a terrible take and you should feel terrible for posting it. Stuff like throwing open post routes two seconds too late and getting drilled forcing an interception is on the QB, not the OL. He was a poor QB.8 points
