  1. They’re on Facebook BSM right now. One guy has three for 120 each plus 15 shipping.
  2. At the absolute most, it should be around $130. That’s secondary market. Should be $90 or so on the shelf.
  3. Beto supporter here. I own 7 guns locked in a safe. Probably will get another in the next couple months.
  4. Anyone in Houston want to trade for a 2018 Michter's 10? I ended up with two bottles, and I only want one. Send me a pm if interested.
  5. That Balvenie TUN 1509 looks like a good buy.
  6. Did my part. Voted in Houston (very short line), and I also sent another small contribution Beto's way. I think this one comes down to the wire.
  7. For those that really want to try the 2017 BTAC collection, here is a 1 oz. sample of each (plus a regular Sazerac) for $84. Only issue is that delivery is another $44. https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/42259/buffalo-trace-antique-collection-gift-set-6x3cl
  8. Good pick up. I thought about grabbing that myself. Excellent value. Never had that Sagamore. Any cask strength rye is worth a shot.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yC7-JsR2Fk https://www.nyu.edu/about/news-publications/news/2017/march/trump-clinton-debates-gender-reversal.html This Clinton stuff really doesn't belong in this thread. Having said that, people don't like Hillary Clinton because she's not likable. It's not a vast right wing conspiracy, and it's not because of sexism. As said up thread, she's like a female, Dem Ted Cruz. Yes, she's orders of magnitudes better than Donald Trump, but that is a pretty low standard.
  10. It wasn't Total. It was from a restaurant or bar that I got at Goody Goody. Good (or bad) news on the Blackwell's OWA pick. It's out ... at the reasonable price of $100.
  11. It was from Blackwell's. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them now though. I think there was a time a few years ago when they were just slightly more expensive than your local stores. They gouge people now though. It's insulting.
  12. I've had two bottles of that, both store picks. They were drastically different. The first one was very mediocre, the second was incredible. Luckily I bought both bottles around the same time or I never would have gotten a second bottle.
  13. I went there this weekend, and I think it was the worst steak I have had in years. It was flavorless. I just had the ribeye, medium rare. It looked good, but it was just incredibly bland. My wife had the classified cut, and she thought it was okay, but not great. I don't really have any explanation. Maybe I just got a bad cut of meat. The bread service was good. I also got the tuna tartare appetizer, which was solid. I got mushrooms for a side. They sucked. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience.
  14. I’m working a deal that could be truly special. I don’t want to jinx it, so I’ll leave it at that. Been trying to get it done the last couple weeks. It is a multistage transaction. If all goes well, part one goes down this weekend. Will share details if it works out.
  15. Going with Roebling Rye tonight. I’m a fan. I ended up with two bottles of it. I love the high proofed ryes, so this is right in my wheelhouse. Here’s the description. Roebling Reserve is a straight rye whiskey, blended from selected mgp barrels. This blend was done by a private club in Kentucky and sold to its members, with some bottles hitting shelves in the area. This rye whiskey is spicy and minty, with a superb and strong nose. It’s 121 proof, with only 412 bottles in the blended batch.
  16. Total Wine and NASA both. I heard it was out in both DFW also.
  17. Apparently Kentucky Owl bourbon batch 8 is out in Texas now. Retail price of $299.99. I think I’ll pass.
  18. So incredible. Beautiful set up.
  19. I just contributed. Will probably put up a sign in my yard.
  20. They didn’t need to go after him, he was the first out.

  22. Not exactly. As you described, the bases were loaded. Profar fields the grounder right next to third base and steps on third for the force out, he then tags the runner who had been at third (who ran back to the base but then stepped off) for the secound out. He throws to Odor covering second for the force out, for out three. Odor then ran over to tag the runner between first and second, but he didn’t need to as the third out had already been made.
