Oh, an SCIF does have a purpose.  For fucking your sidepiece/main girl now.

spacer.pngIsnt that project DOA now with the pullback of federal funding?

You're far too kind, imho. I think it's far more likely that they had an agenda to make sure Vandy lost by no more than 3.

The best way to do this is certainly not to let Texas race out to a 24 point 4th quarter lead and then stomp on the scale enough to help vandy all the way back but only with dumb Texas shit going on as well to help.  The manner in which it happened makes the conspiracy doubt worthy.

If you take federal money you have to follow federal rules. I know this from dealing with Medicare, Tricare, DOL etc. their stance is if you don’t like our rules you don’t have to take care of our patients. I assume things like SNAP work the same way

I don’t think that answers my question.  A grocery store participates in snap, does the equal treatment for customer rule apply to all customers and all prices, or just snap (or whichever federal program)?

He looked fine out there. Our defense ate them alive and Arch made some big throws. Mateer is super overrated and that was the first real defense he played all year.

All sooner fans and some talking heads pregame: mateer is throwing darts in warmup. Texas is in trouble.

talking heads postgame:  thumb must have been bothering him.

It dont make a fuck. We beat OU head ot head when we were "playing like shit" so what does that make them?

Their qb was throwing left handed for that game!  Doesn’t count!

Don't be a pussy. I want to watch good football games, not beat up on chumps.

Would you rather watch Texas play a good team in September or January?  Because losing former will have an adverse affect on the latter.  And we would be sitting pretty right now at 8-1 with all of our early flaws, to be able to take advantage of our seasonal growth and winning 2 of our last 3 would virtually guarantee us a spot instead of being a bubble team.

This picture shows that the goal line pylon is correctly positioned right in line with the leading edge of the goal line.

This first picture shows some white between the top of the pylon and the green of the field, indicating that this picture has some angle to it.

the video from which the lower image set is taken is obviously from a more severe angle, but it does appear to show the ball getting closer to the plane as it gets closer to the pylon, which makes it tougher to believe that it was closer at an earlier point than it was as it passes in front of the pylon.

  9. Ok then I was wrong. But that means he decided it was good after the ball missed the pylon, at which time the only logical conclusion is that it never crossed.

  10. Haven’t tried to find a replay to watch but live as soon as the ball misses the pylon I looked at the ref and he already had two hands up, so he must have called it good somewhere around the second image above.  Somehow.

I don't know what you're talking about, honestly. The pylon shot was through a distorted lens (yes, slightly offset) and not dispositive. The best shot was from the ref's POV and it was super-close (I still think it was a bad call, should have gone to the D).

If it was over the plane, it would have touched the pylon. If it had touched the pylon, we would have seen it move in the overhead or seen the pylon cam image move. Since that didn’t happen, the ball was not over the portion of the plane in which the pylon existed.

based on visual cues, the ball was never nearer the goal line plane than when it was near the pylon. So if it didn’t touch the pylon then, it couldn’t have compressed the plane previously in open space where a guess would have had to have been made.

it’s ok to use middle school level science to mathematically prove it didn’t happen.

instead we got…well there’s angles so we will just go with the on field call.

  12. I still can’t believe the 2 point replay. I can’t believe the on-field call either, but mistakes get made. Upon replay, there was no shot that showed the ball breaking the plane. None. Zero evidence it happened.  But for some reason the decision was that the official had a better angle than all of the cameras so we have to go with that.

by that definition, it shouldn’t even be reviewable unless you put a camera right where you say it needs to be in order to overturn a call.  Otherwise, every camera will have an angle and the SJ will obviously be to the millimeter right down the line to have a better view than all of them.
