Well... yes https://www.world-nuclear-news.org/articles/kazatomprom-to-lower-uranium-production-in-2026 UUUU up 12% on this and probably this news: Energy Fuels Successfully Produces First Kilogram of 99.9% Purity Dysprosium Oxide at its White Mesa Mill in Utah; on Track to Commence Terbium Production in Q4 2025 https://investors.energyfuels.com/2025-08-21-Energy-Fuels-Successfully-Produces-First-Kilogram-of-99-9-Purity-Dysprosium-Oxide-at-its-White-Mesa-Mill-in-Utah-on-Track-to-Commence-Terbium-Production-in-Q4-2025
  3. Interesting article with impressive reporting into parts of Putin's inner circle. Kozak might want to avoid multistory buildings. He Was a Key Aide to Putin. Then He Balked at the Ukraine War. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/10/world/europe/putin-russia-ukraine-war-dmitri-kozak.html
  4. Good points. I agree- saying it could be "key" in negotiations is overstating it quite a bit.
  5. Something to keep in mind as negotiations play out. How Trump’s Armenia-Azerbaijan deal gives US key ‘leverage’ over Russia https://nypost.com/2025/08/08/world-news/how-trumps-armenia-azerbaijan-deal-gives-us-key-leverage-over-russia

  10. The AirBNB in Portland we stayed in and a number of shop managers mentioned a drop in Canadian tourists in the area. Probably explains the desperation of other certain professions (if you were the target).
  11. This sentence made it seem a bit less significant than it initially seemed: So, the biggest Russian oil buyers in India have not necessarily stopped, but the state refiners have stopped buying Russian oil. It doesn't say they have stopped refining it. Reuters also notes that the discount on Russian oil is not as advantageous as it once was. I read it is the lowest discount for Russian oil since the war began. This adds to the good news though: Oil prices fell more than $2 a barrel on Friday morning on jitters about a possible increase in production by OPEC and its allies, while weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report fed worries about demand. https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-light-crude-falls-more-than-1-possible-opec-production-boost-2025-08-01/
  12. Please keep the dick pics to yourself
  13. I wondered if there were some Ukraine-related concessions involved with the new EU trade deal. Maybe this is one or maybe he was just talked into it.

  17. Maybe try Atrakta before returning the Dynatrap. I remember reading that they are much more attracted to scent than light.
  18. I use Dynatrap. It's really hard to tell the extent to which it works because 1. We don't have a ton of mosquitoes since both neighbors pay a company to spay and 2. They're so small (here) that it's pretty hard to see them amid all of the other insects caught in the Dynatrap. However, I use Dynatrap plus Atrakta to attract mosquitoes and I can count on one hand the number of mosquitoes I've seen on my property this year. Using the Atrakta definitely makes the container fill up much more quickly as well. Again, it's just hard to tell if you actually have any mosquitoes. You may be able to tell much better in Texas, given the avian qualities of the mosquitos there. As a side note, I've always been interested in approaches like In2Care, which could be effective with less harm for pollinators, but it's only for professional use. https://www.in2care.org/mosquito-trap/
