  1. A bit of a shift in tone... US intelligence believes that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will break through Russia's defenses by the end of the year. Trent Mol, director of analysis at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, said that the AFU will be able to break through all Russian defense lines in southern Ukraine by the end of the year. "If we were talking about this two weeks ago, I would have been a little more pessimistic. Their breakthrough through the second defense belt is actually quite significant," a U.S. intelligence officer told The Economist. According to Mol, two factors are critical to the success of the Defense Force: - The supply of ammunition needed for the artillery, which powers the advance; - the weather in the fall.
  2. Another general has been jailed in #Russia Major General Konstantin Ogienko has been sent to a pre-trial detention center on corruption charges. Until recently, he commanded the air defense army defending #Moscow. The general was jailed for a bribe of 30 million rubles and land fraud. According to the investigation, Ogienko could sell land plots belonging to the air defense army for development. Glad this guy was reappointed. "The Russian army was the second strongest in the world. Now the Russian army is the second strongest in Ukraine," NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said. He also harshly responded to the 'experts' that are criticizing the speed of the counter-offensive. "You can't sit in Brussels and tell the Ukrainians how to fight. They risk their lives, and we only support and praise them for their bravery."
  3. "Two grenades at the window, two grenades at the door, and then you go in and finish off" - ex-mercenaries of Wagner PMC about Prigozhin’s criminal orders. Maksim Zelenov and Aleksey Chernyavsky are former prisoners who were recruited into the Wagner PMC last November. Together with other mercenaries, they were sent to clean up a village near Soledar in Donetsk region. Their command and Prigozhin himself gave criminal orders to the "Wagnerites" - to throw grenades at residential buildings and kill civilian women and children. After that, Maksim and Aleksey fled the PMC camp and hid for more than 8 months. Only after the death of Prigozhin they dared to tell the founder of Gulagu net resource, @Vlad_Osechkin, about these war crimes. UN 🇺🇳 IS NOT SURE IF THERE IS GENOCIDE IN 🇺🇦 Translation from Ukrainian: “IRPIN 🇺🇦: A Family: a man, a woman, three daughters 5, 8, 17 years old. 🇷🇺 settled in their house. The man was shot dead on the same day. They raped the woman, & then raped the children in front of her. Girls aged 5 and 8 died of rape & injuries. The woman and her daughter, 17 years old, survived, but are in serious condition in the hospital. —- GOSTOMEL 🇺🇦: A Family: a woman and a son of 16 years old. The son was shot dead. The woman was raped & beaten for more than three weeks. She died from her injuries. There is no family.” The list goes on & on… The UN 🇺🇳 is useless.
  4. A bit more firm than I expected.
  5. Yeah.. That's my default on twitter videos
  6. Pretty cool map that provides context for the battles around Robotyne:
  7. Attempting to strike a balance?
  8. Extended clip of the 3-fer some Russian soldiers received. Kind of incredible that the dude at the front managed to walk away, but I imagine he's severely injured.
  9. Films "Oppenheimer" and "Barbie" are disguised in Russian cinemas in order not to make the Ministry of Culture nervous. The films are hidden under the titles "Freezing out" and "Fast Dates". Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Culture recognized the films as immoral. The title "Fast Dates" apparently suits the values of the "Russian world" better.
  10. Her email address is in the comments
  11. More context for the "lucky" Russians who were shelled, clustered, and droned. They were evacuating trenches after clusters were used. You can see their dead and dying comrades from the drone's perspective.
  12. There was an explosion in a cafe where Russian officers were eating in Zaporizhzhia region Everything happened in the temporarily occupied village of Konskiye Rozdory. The occupiers used the building of a kindergarten for their needs: the main hall was turned into a cafe, and in the utility rooms stored ammunition. "It detonated for more than an hour and a half. The flames spread to two KamAZ of the Rashists and the equipment of the collaborators", said mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.
  13. Exclusive footage of the special operation of the GUR called Synytsia. A Russian pilot surrendered to Ukraine along with the Mi-8 combat helicopter The Russian pilot calls on other Russian pilots to follow his example. "You are guaranteed that you will live, receive a reward and, if you want, even continue to fly, but on the side of truth.
  14. My point was that this is a smart move on the whole by Zelensky for a country that eventually wants to join the EU ajd NATO. Of course having no issues throughout the defense ministry would be preferred.
