CFL lawyer is smart. Has to play more than half of snaps. None of this active for the game and then strained my pussy bullhsit.

Even smarter if he didn't differentiate between the offensive and defensive ones...

I would like to know when they are being talked down to. Seems like that’s bullshit drummed up by Fox News to anger them. When is all that happening? It also isn’t condescension to say, hey you’re being fooled by a con man. Snap out of it.

I imagine their definition of condescension includes anything from someone more educated, wealthier or younger trying to change their mind regardless of tone or merit.

I finished a bottle of Belle Meade 11 yr Single Barrel.  They labeled it as cask strength, but it's only 110 proof. Probably misleading labeling there, but still a pretty good product. I recommend picking it up if you see it for retail. The 9 and 10 year single barrels should be pretty good as well.

For those of that have visited Buffalo Trace, what's usually for sell at the distillery? I read they were starting to get cute with Blanton's, one bottle per visitor. Possibly no more filling up the suitcase runs to Kentucky.

Was referring to this. And not watching post numbers.

  5. ^^^ FWIW a lot of Four Roses barrel strength clocks in around there. Also labels are fairly regulated (i.e. age statements refer to the youngest whiskey in the bottle and single barrel has to come from one barrel - which parenthetically is why ER10 changed their label a few years back).  Not sure if the concept carries over to cask or barrel strength designations but the ABV isn't automatically a disqualification.

Also I agree the Belle Meade cask strength is a good pour.

I'm not sure how any reasonable person can read through that timeline and all of the links/supporting documents and come to the conclusion that there is nothing going on that is AT LEAST worthy of further investigation.  Yet there are millions of people in this country who think that all of this is a witch hunt and that the real bad actors in this situation are the DOJ and FBI.  It's mind bottling.

Well DJT is certainly not reasonable and barely qualifies as a person.

But I doubt actually read anything.

  7. Thought the same thing.  Wtf that’s a bad name. Looked it up and it’s a TX state park. Didn’t know that.  And still think wtf - that’s a bad name.

  8. Right now I’ve got OESV, OBSV, OESQ, OBSQ and OESK at the house.

I’m also debating talking to a local shop about underwriting a private barrel for them.  Don’t tell Mrs. Brown Water.

If it's barrel proof, I would grab one.  I think "Private Selection" implies barrel proof, but not positive.  I think I've had OESF and OESQ before and both were great.  OBSV is the standard single barrel so if you like that, this will be a higher proof and the yeast is supposed to be more "floral".

Yes. Private selection equals barrel proof.  And yes it's worth $70 a bottle.  There are 10 variations. OE is a low rye mash bill (by 4 roses standards but still higher than most) and OB is their high rye.  Both mashbills get paired with one of five yeast strains each with a unique character to make the 10 options.  I'm generally prefer the low rye but was surprised by the OBSV (yes same mashbill as the single barrel but at cask strength and with more age).  It may have been one of the best I've had.

Word of caution.  Thought I've never disliked any of these I've like some substantially more than others. OESO was my least favorite and I think that is the "fruit" profile if I recall correctly   Anyway my point is they're all surprisingly different and the fact that they are single barrel and often aged different lengths and have different proofs makes even the same mashbill somewhat variable

    Not enough.

They can never hate him enough.  Because hate for Trump doesn't come from inner anger, rage, and burning hate.  It doesn't come from a place of wanting to see others suffer.  It's just not enough.

  11. Washington (CNN)When Hillary Clinton said that her Republican rival Donald Trump had paid no federal income tax in some years, Trump didn't deny it.

In fact, he said: "That makes me smart."
