  1. quoting an older post, but played there Saturday AM. It's worth the drive. Greens might be as good as I've ever seen them - turns out, getting a 3-4 week break from a packed tee-sheet, along with a warm spring and a few heavy storms means the grass will grow. They're a little light on the social distancing stuff, but I wore a mask for all the checkin/pro shop time, and took my own hand sanitizer, and felt safe. Range is open, one-rider-to-a-cart. Beware that if they run out of carts, you have to walk ... so book an early tee time, or shoot for the 11-12 timeframe (for when the early tee times start to finish up).
  2. Just wanted to chime in here and give thanks for being raised in a family of generally handy people. I'm no master craftsman, but I put together two shelves in the laundry room today at the request of the wife, made entire from "shit I had laying around the garage," and they look damn good. The goal is to be functional, but they're well thought out, strong AF, and cleaned up nice with a bit of caulk afterwards. As I jokingly texted my dad, they're even "about 92% level." Love seeing everyones projects on this thread. Keep it going. I'm soon to start converting my walk-in attic to a golf sim room and theater. That's a much bigger project lol. I have what I need to get started, but i'll rapidly need to go to HD so I'm waiting until there's a BIT more clarity on CV19 before I really dig in. It should perfectly align with the weather getting balls hot again (neat).
  3. The saddest part of this thread is realizing that there are no Brandy Perryman highlights on Youtube.
  4. Wind power turbines in the background - would not play.

    Tool Talk

This. I will say the new FlexVolt gear seems to be pretty badass. Can run 60V in things like the circsaw, but only 20v elsewhere. I found a bundle with the Circ Saw that included two 60/20v batteries and a charger, I bought another 60/20V, and already had a charger previous. Also have the impact driver, hammer drill, jigsaw and an extra drill-driver. Will soon add the dremel, work light, and sawzall (I have corded versions of all three, but I just don't see the need for my lightweight household tasks). I'll also say that DeWalt isn't what it used to be. For general household use, I really think any of the house-brand brushless 20V+ sets will do you right. GottaB's collection looks awesome. Basically, pick one, and buy all the tools and buy good batteries.
  6. Apologies if I missed a similar thread ... Guy and Jeska Forsyth on right now, Facebook live - Go watch! Post others! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Alright, that was fucking funny ...
  8. Honest question - why not leave Oklahoma? Lol, kidding. Appreciate the insight.
  9. Honest question ... why not just keep the 3w, and NOT carry a driver? You said that the 3w warmup / baseline swings were ~98mpg club speed, ~148 ball speed. The G410 is, at best, about a 1.5-3% improvement. Why not add another wedge instead?
  10. Thanks for posting this. I didn't realize that Andrew Jones, Ramey, Liddell, K. Jones and Hepa were that highly rated in their classes. Just makes our performance over the last three years that much more disappointing.
  11. Um, holy fucking shit.
  12. This is absolutely stunning. Well fucking done.
  13. For research purposes ... who's the blonde?
  14. I may have shot 70 on the Red three years ago to win the GCAmtour event out there. Fucking amazing track.
  15. Absolutely torched last week. Lost about $850, only witnessed one good roll and it missed me completely (he hit probably 10 points, but nothing else).
  16. This font ... it sucks.
  17. This shit better be 100% option one, or your complicit in the destruction of this country.
  18. I'm glad you said something about the quality of that article - great piece, especially the very end.
  19. I can indeed vouch that B00M is not a serial killer. At least, not that I know of. In public. MOST of the time.
  20. I know something you don't know ... I am not left-handed.
  21. Clarifying - this isn't a shot at Bookman or JS1. I know it reads like one. It's a shot at the morons in middle America who can't stand to see their hard-earned minimum wage minimal taxes go to help their fellow man "because the libs."
  22. This is such a lazy take. Each of the top D candidates offer significant sanity and sensibility benefits over trump. In no way should core supports of one candidate suddenly view Trump as a better option if their candidate loses. Warren is polarizing, and she has a vagina. She's also extremely pro-education, anti-wall street, and pro-labor. These are deep blue causes. Bernie has the socialism anchor around his neck, put there by a very effective disinformation campaign run by the right. If you prefer Biden or Warren, but Bernie gets the nod, realize that he's trying to bring healtcare to the people, and offer a safety net so that our weakest and poorest don't flounder and literally die. Again, basically the definition of Blue. Biden has his shortcomings, and he's sort of the last 'professional politician" on the blue side. He's got skeletons in his closet, because he's been in politics long enough to have seen a massive evolution in the way Americans address major issues. He's also the most qualified public servant on the left side of the aisle right now (that's not a slight to Sens Warren or Sanders, who both have sheepskins in politics). Joe has seen and done it on the biggest stages, and can get shit done. His skeletons PALE in comparison to the ones on the right side of the aisle. Don't play the both sides game when it comes to this election. This isn't a "both sides" issue. Vote blue; vote common human decency.
  23. Ain't this the fucking truth ...
