  1. Incredible transfer business from a value standpoint for the entire window…but we still haven’t addressed our actual depth needs (CDM, LCB/LB).
  2. FSG love being in the black for a transfer window more than they love running a successful football club.
  3. Seeing them in Columbia tonight — hoping the weather holds up and we see a good amount of first teamers in action. Would love to see Slot establish the bald coach hierarchy in the EPL with a nice thrashing.
  4. We better hope Quinn spent his whole offseason working on his deep ball, because it hasn’t been a particular strength of his.
  5. Is it unthinkable to think Moore has been a silent for the past month(s) and Sark has asked him to go public to quell some of this negative momentum?
  6. I’m super sad to see Klopp go (it’s quite dusty in my living room…) but equally excited about Slot coming in and shaking things up. I hope he gets FSG’s backing.
  7. It really sucks that Matip and Thiago didn’t get to see out their tenure in the way they deserved. Matip a huge cog in our title winning side(s) and Thiago was our best midfielder during that 2021/22 stretch.
  8. Brock Cunningham is such a fucking cocksucker. Just an absolute Neanderthal.
  9. Post-injury Diaz can’t sniff Mané’s jock strap unfortunately. Had high hopes for him after the 2022 spring, but he’s just our least effective attacker for as much as he sees the ball.
  10. Absolutely pathetic from Diaz and Elliott. Unfortunate deflection.
  11. Konate is 2x better than him. He covers the entire right side of the field when Trent is nowhere to be found. VVD shuts off / jogs nonchalantly way too often in risky positions. Konate 100% heads that ball harmlessly back to the midfield. VVD wanted to look cool wrestling a 150 pound winger and risked a diabolical bounce in the process.
  12. Van Dijk has been fucking shit off and on this year. Need to invest in an LCB.
  13. We’ve got to be careful with Gomez on a yellow. I might move him to RB, slide Trent into midfield and bring Robbo on. Maybe Thiago comes on in the 65th minute?
  14. That was the most wonderfully shite goal you’ll ever see to bring it level. Arsenal must be absolutely deflated.
  15. Gravenberch cannot be a starter in meaningful games. He’s a weak presser and non-existent in possession. He has 14 touches in 42 minutes of play as a midfielder. It’s completely unacceptable.
  16. I grew up a Packers fan because my dad is from Appleton, but my mom is from Garland and this shit hurts me. We are gonna get skullfucked by SF next week and I was just hoping this was competitive.
  17. Joe Barry rushes 3-4 on every snap; if Dak doesn’t shit himself, the Cowboys will score at will in this half. The question is how much time it might take to score on each drive if he’s playing his usual shell Cover 2 bullshit.
  18. That hold is on Aaron Jones. That run was definitely not supposed to bounce outside and there’s no way Tucker Kraft stops Parsons from getting there without a hold.
  19. Bond would be a fantastic pickup based on his tape. The dude definitely has a third gear to him and could replace Worthy’s deep threat contribution.
  20. This just shows how mediocre our edge rush is that we couldn’t kick #73’s dick in all night last week.
  21. hahaha, this dude was firing into 6-inch windows against Texas and he misses a guy open by 15 yards tonight. Insane.
  22. I just listened to Todd McShay say that Penix’s performance yesterday (as a pocket passer) was maybe the most impressive QB performance he’s ever seen at the college level. I just watched a highlight tape of his throws from last night (hadn’t seen many of them since I was in the stadium) and I find it hard to disagree. That was 2019 LSU stuff; the fact that we had a shot at the end with Penix throwing 40+ yard dots on every drive is incredible. Just really bad luck we ran into a guy that dialed in because the defense had no margin for error.
  23. We sorely need edge players with the explosiveness to close down on the QB once they get through the LOS. It felt like we pushed Penix off his spot every now and then, but nobody had the athleticism to finish the play off and bring him to the ground.
