  1. But if there was ever a Republican $$$ vacuum, it's Trump. And if Trump loses while taking all their money, I'm down.
  2. Accountability is currently being actively vilified. Nothing their orange god or any Republicans tout benefits them at all. And for immigration: “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 19:33-34 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, ..." Matthew 25: 31-46 Anyways, there's a lot about immigration in the Bible, but what do I know, I'm a filthy heathen? I'm of the mind to offer citizenship to those that qualify and broaden the tax base. Regardless, Republican racism is the only unifying condition for their continued worship of their orange god.
  3. Ha! Can't we all watch a live or 48 hour video feed from every side of our homes on our cell phones now days? I can't imagine having an armed militia and all that land and not being able to monitor my property. But I can't imagine living in a place you don't have to lock every window and door either. Edit: We live off Bladensburg Road--the road the British marched up during the War of 1812 and defeated the colonists on their way to burning the capitol and the White House in 1814. So maybe it's a little like a British crime drama.
  4. Also because Dot has mentioned twice to Roy that she was going to kill him. There have been many odd things, especially if it's supposed to be 2019 or whatever it references to the timeline at the beginning. Cameras don't really seem to exist for one, and people move around regardless with way too much ease. But they do this in all good guy/bad guy movies. I see cameras everywhere, outside of homes, inside of homes, inside of homes facing outside, in cars, on bicycle helmets, all the way down the road and at intersections, which was the same in 2019, aside from maybe dashboard cams. But this isn't a big city, so maybe that gets a pass. Roy and his son fuck too much stuff up regularly not to have visible trails all over the place. They're not discreet or quiet. The lawyer had to know he was going up to die--alone, didn't notify anybody, early evening, unarmed, to threat bargain with the devil. It was a suicide mission. Dot goes into the room and makes a call facing away from the door? Then leaves the gun outside at the well/trough. WTF. Nobody hears the shots at the trough? Anybody that watched David Koresh's compound explode knows that this isn't going to end well for them. There would be a larger army for one, and snipers. Roy just rides around on a horse, devil may care. If the son wanders into camp, they have to divide--a leader that loses his son, which then shows up blinded and disowned has to be a bad leadership sign.
  5. When Penix was on, he erased a lot of mistakes. That's a difficult thing to duplicate. But he's a good coach, no doubt.
  6. What was in the gatorade? Harbaugh suddenly acts lit.
  7. No, Washington will not just be back, Kirk. Penix isn't coming back and they lose a lot. Also, they're now going to have to go through Michigan and OSU twice.
  8. Michigan's got lawyers and NCAA always buckles when resistance shows. They're only good for torturing smaller schools.
  9. Washington has driven straight up the middle, from the corner, and everywhere.
  10. Texas got handcuffed by officiating early. Zebras let them play more in the second half, but they never called Washington for shit. When holding gets called, it opens the pash rush too.
  11. His receivers also haven't balled out. They've slipped, tripped and bumbled around as well.
  12. Penix went from hot to hot garbage. Amazing when calls aren't made how much better defenses are against him.
  13. Has anybody seen a Michigan defensive back turn to the ball? I thought they automatically called interference if the db doesn't turn and contact is made?
  14. Washington is going to have to pass now. Time is now not their friend. Going to have to come from behind against a team that can bleed clock.
  15. I miss having reliable, competent linebackers. Texas finally has one, but damn.
  16. DB grabbed multiple times and never turned around. Zebras choose when to call and when not to.
  17. Wonder how many penalties Texas would be flagged with at this point of the game.
  18. I was thinking no way Penix could sustain this for two halves, but he did enough. But despite Penix and two fumbles and a shit third quarter, the Longhorns still had a chance. Texas also had a big hand in beating themselves. Edit: Shit, UT8 beat me to it.
  19. Probably had to sign an agreement that they'd present no pushback in order for the Republican Chairman to be a guest on the air.
  20. Josh Homme starter kit. Sure, there are better pictures, but that smile.
  21. I didn't know Capitol Hill like others--played pool and watched football in the basement of Zack's, by myself or with a woman. Occasionally would order a pizza upstairs along with $2 pitchers, which were small but good for at least two beers. Occasionally would go to Cap Lounge and play pool with the lobbyists. Mickeys was my other hangout--now long gone, and probably so is Mickey. Little Pub was the last of the pool hangouts and the old timers, now mostly gone. Henry's and Bullfeathers are still there, but don't expect fine dining, and so is the Monacle. Also the Ugly Mug on 8th, is a few doors down from where I used to live. Bombay Street Food on 8th street in Capitol Hill: really spicy, try Lamb Vindaloo, otherwise Lamb Korma is great, Chicken Tikka Masala, ask for extra rice, split a Taj Majal, or drink a full bottle. Pizza, maybe try Matchbox for personal sized pizza, Belga Cafe or Carusos Grocery for fine dining. Trustys is a good drinking bar and the psychotic bartender used to work door at Pour House or Cap Lounge, and there's Duffys on H, along with The Vic for soccer, the Pug (one of the owners used to work at Cap Lounge) is great for artists, late night wtf mini Emo's is Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Hearts Club, this should get you started. Texas Exes meet at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern to watch the Sugar Bowl (South of Chinatown).
  22. Funny, they say the same thing about covid--it only kills the olds and those who are immunocompromised.
  23. That wasn't a position he and the team were used to being in.
  24. and took down Stanford too.
