Little Homesick and I are nursing this guy back to health. Found him out behind our warehouse. Looks like one of the feral cats might’ve gotten after him. Super docile, and according to Jr, he “appreciates what we’re doing for him.

It was me. Well, it was me that told the story. It was a friend of mine who did the rhinoplasty. It’s got to be out there somewhere. I’ve recapped it twice already, and I’m at work. Can someone more internet savvy than me do the search?

100% this, as others have said. I had a guy redo my driveway during Covid, on the recommendation of a guy who works on our yard. "Oh, he seems like a good guy, he warehouses next to mine." Dude was all Christ this, Christ that, very polite. And he did the worst job ever. A year into it cracks everywhere, and if you powerwash it the concrete literally comes up. It was basically "Do I spend more time and money suing this guy or let it go?" Pretty sure that's his business model. Lesson learned.
This reminds me of the Jim Gaffigan bit about Jesus being a shitty carpenter.
“I’m really glad that whole son-of-God thing panned out for him. Because he built me a shed last year and that thing was a piece of shit”.- 1

Bring it. You dizzy fucking cunt. -
Or you could get your own French foreign exchange college student.
If I had a dime for every French foreign exchange student…..ah, fuck it.- 2

Yes, the video is a creation. It’s obvious. I took it as putting you in the position to think through that scenario in your head. That would be some fucked up shit.
Nice recovery, dude. -
This is a text exchange between myself and my Ukrainian “friend”. I sent her the MTG twitter speech. This girl’s brother, who is my age, is and has been fighting with the Uk Special Forces. I’m just gonna leave this snippet of our chat.

we first had our French exchange student in 2017, when I was still capable of being shocked and surprised at how quickly things started going to shit after his election. one night i just went off at whatever shit was on the news and ended up on a tirade about just how fucking GROSS he was!!!
she didn't know what gross meant...so she learned a new expressive english word that will always mean 'Trump' to her #csb
Not to derail. But rules…we has them.- 1

I know it's popular to slam people of his ilk, but taking pictures of people at the gym should be completely banned. Please don't be that guy.
Username doth not checkout.- 1

I’m a fan, I hope the best for him.
Same. Gage stands alone. Dude’s provided them with more trophies in their hall of honor than anyone since…well…ever.- 4

Snapped this little gem literally 20 minutes ago at a red light here in Kerrville. Just gonna leave it here.

Many of your parents and grandparents have been cool with this line of thinking their entire lifetime. Many of you were raised to be just like this. The "them" was different, but the story was the same. I hope you are ready to defend (or attack). It's going to take a very concerted effort to stave off this hatred and sustain human decency.
My father is a retired Army Special Forces Colonel. He’s voted against Trump both times. Dude voted Democrat in the last election for the first time in his voting career, and he’s 79 years old.- 9

Easter weekend bbq cookoff at Flatrock Park. Got a good campsite with my team on Thursday night (we’re local, so we had pick of the litter).
Unfortunately, I had to work on Friday, but was able to sabotage a few things in order to leave early. I went home. I shit, showered, and shaved. Then I headed down to my campsite/cook site on the river. The place had tripled in population. I was happy to find that my buddy had parked his golf cart in a way that saved me a parking spot in our campsite. Then, he head nodded to our neighbors across the way.
These fucking idiots. I’m not going to address the spats that occurred, but they got spicier throughout both Friday and Saturday night. A lot of the reason was that we placed second in brisket out of more than thirty teams. That upset them. But it didn’t upset them as much as our uncontrolled laughter, when the wind caused the rack on the back of this truck carrying the flags to pop a weld, and go tumbling down the infield into other cook/campsites.
The flags (in order)
-“When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty”
-“Come and take it” (Featuring an M-16)
-RIGGED 2020 “He’s still my president”
-TRUMP 2024 “Let’s take America back”- 5

Not like it’s an unprecedented situation.
Sorry, but all of this reminded me of this meme. Real pic of the actor/actress, then and now. More cool than lulz, seeing as how they’re still close friends.

Yes and no to your underlined sentence (full agreement on your second sentence).
And, it depends on how we define "alpha" -- if you try to fully match it up to what we thought the wolfpack definition was, no, it doesn't work. But there ARE men who are natural leaders and command others. I've seen it WAY too many times, I know it's real. Any man who has been a member of a team (sports, military, large organization) has that experience. There are just natural team leaders. It happens and sorts that way, rather quickly. It doesn't mean that the "alpha" in one situation will necessarily be an alpha in every situation (the clear team leader on a football team may not be the leader later in life when he's working on a business team). And I'll suggest that part of true "alpha" conduct is to NOT be tied up in status, but rather results: a real "alpha" doesn't play like insecure Donny Trump and say "I know more about nuclear energy than anyone." A real alpha gathers info, listens to knowledgeable people, and then makes and executes on a decision. He's an "alpha" because he's secure enough in his status that he's not afraid to get information that may disagree with his initial inclination/instinct, and he can act on that new information.....and importantly, people will FOLLOW HIS LEAD.
Maybe a better term is "boss." But even then, it doesn't really capture the full spectrum of what we're talking about. It's just good leadership.
In BOB, Dick Winters was an "alpha." Sobel was not. It had nothing to do with their rank. It had everything to do with how they took and exercised leadership.
These pathetic bastards think you're an "alpha" because you roid up and yell at people and wear tactical underwear and shit like that. They have literally everything about the issue wrong.
Sounds like something a gay-tarded little beta would say.- 1

My sister has a horse barn on 32 acres on Hwy 27 just outside of Comfort (12 miles from Kerrville). I’m probably gonna have some folks out there if anyone is interested. It’s far enough away from Kerrville to not get cluster-fucked by traffic, and close enough to I-10 to make your getaway when it’s over.

Well, she was probably a Russian sycophant before she left Ukraine for here. But that’s, yikes. Did she vote to veto the Ukraine aid bill(s)?
According to my “friend” from Ukraine, this is absolutely the case.- 1

It's called the "Angry Dolphin".
Wrong. The angry dolphin is when you quickly pull out and try and put it in her ass. That’s when she says, “eeh eeh!! Eeh eeh!! Eeh eeh!!”.
Also known as the “Flipper”.- 1
