  1. Also on pace for 108 XBH, which I'm led to believe could be a record for a 108-win team.
  2. Outstanding work all around. Light it up one more time! 🤘
  3. Well, at least they got Aaliyah Chavez.
  4. OU's problem is that they faced a team of five individuals who all are quick, strong, good ball handlers, smart defenders and great rebounders for their size. When they don't steal the ball, they force tough shots, clean up the boards and push it downcourt. A meat grinder of a D few teams can do much with. Oh, and if they don't score on the initial break, there's always Buechers up top. Good luck.
  5. For such a "fast" offense, 46 points at the 0:26 mark in the third quarter seems a bit "slow."
  6. Player of the game right there. By far.
  7. We've done 100 things wrong today and yet still lead. Close it on out.
  8. What a nightmare on offense. But showing serious guts on the other end. Great TO by Vic.
  9. They're much deeper and, except for Preston, more athletic. Oh, and they make the easiest shots. We somehow don't, which is why we're not up by 15.
  10. We're about to find out how good Vic is at managing a short bench. Needs all he can get out of his stars, game stoppages...and a little luck wouldn't hurt.
  11. Chick announcers dig the long ball.
  12. Nobody misses more unmissable layups than we do. It's maddening and will cost us.
  13. Wild one. Two teams with major individual talent who can get their shots pretty much whenever. After last year it doesn't bother me to see NC State take a seat, though I never want to see Mulkey succeed. Of course, because I really only care about Texas, the other games' results are moot to me if we don't get it done today. The Vols aren't to be taken lightly, especially if they dial in from 3 early and Booker's so aggressive on D that she gets a couple quick fouls. We'd better keep pounding it inside and being efficient. With one obvious exception (hi, Dookies), it will take 70-plus points to beat anyone at this point of the tournament.
  14. You never know what will turn out to define your season. But this game might. We'll see.
  15. At least we're coming up with creative ways to almost be clutch. Not impressed with much of anything we've been doing lately.
  16. Nice to see Mia come to life. Let's hope it's a start. This lethargy in games that actually matter is becoming an ugly habit. Goes back to the miracle rally against Auburn. High time for somebody to read the riot act.
  17. This team is really missing Martinez and Dayton, for multiple reasons. Who out there is going to be a leader?
  18. As feared, just too little offense. Not that turning two errors into MSU runs helped us, either. Time to put on those big-girl pants.
  19. Not understanding the throw to 2B there. Giving up a run for no reason. That's the sort of mistake our weaker opponents make.
  20. Not looking for any offensive records to be set in this one. Guess we'll see how many total innings Chafin and Kavan have to go over the weekend.
  21. Gasso said afterwards that they'd been focusing on this weekend's series against Tennessee, and it showed. Most runs allowed by OU in 5 seasons. We all know they don't have a lockdown staff any more, but this was an especially bad showing. On the other side, WSU pitching was awful. But the hosts also played no semblance of D. It really was Keystone Cops out there. Of course, you might expect that of a .500 team.
  22. Wow. Those two staffs served up more meat than a Brazilian steakhouse.
  23. OU 19-16 final...of course. But I like our chances against that staff.
