  1. Exit velo reminds me a lot of Dubie. Were Dubie hitting a driver and a Titleist.
  2. I follow sports strictly for fun. Not a gambler or someone looking for sports minutiae to dazzle the babes on trivia night. I don't know this guy from Adam's housecat, but he doesn't sound like fun. So I'm out.
  3. McCormick has done it. He's made me a fan of Jake Meyers. Shocking but true.
  4. Awesome work by Blubaugh, just when needed.
  5. With this team, I'm afraid all innings from here on out are a concern.
  6. Clearly a much better batting eye at Camden. Need to replicate.
  7. But no matter the jersey du jour, orange bills from here on out. That winning pattern is clear...which probably means we'll not see them again.
  8. What a relaxing evening. We should win by blowout more often.
  9. Dubomb is officially our August highlight. Good for that guy making something positive happen. Of course, the way it's going, I'm surprised he didn't tear an ACL rounding third.
  10. How might one tell?
  11. Even the sunshine pumpers are starting to spew raw sewage. And I'm thinking rightly so. Because if the team has capitulated, can a mass fan exodus be far off? Hurry, football.
  12. So this is why Urias isn't starting today. Makes perfect sense.
  13. It's actually fascinating to see how poorly they can execute and yet somehow remain in contention. Although that says much more about the division than about the Astros. I guess a fan could be encouraged that the team at least tends to be competitive against elite squads. (No, I didn't mean "other" elite squads.) But let's face it: This is a staggering run of garbage and plenty of justification to can the skipper.
  14. This game would be entertaining if I didn't care who wins.
  15. The fact we get so few guys on base makes the DP total that much more impressive. Situational hitting, guys.
  16. Seems we're either really good or really bad. I'd naturally feel better if we'd played bad ball early and now were on an huge upswing. I think I really just need to temper my expectations about what these pitchers are (including guys rejoining the rotation) vs. what they were at their peak. I'll be pleasantly surprised if Yordan is back at anything close to his old self this year.
  17. Current AL West race
  18. First I've seen us play. Hopefully an anomaly, because during the minutes I saw (admittedly our worst of the day), we looked marshmallow soft. Our guards' inability to get by anyone was disappointing, as was everyone's inability to shoot. Cunningham did make a few layups. Then Howell bullied us out of the deep end of the pool all by herself.
  19. Looks like women against girls at the moment.
  20. I've been watching for 20 minutes of actual time and have seen us score a whopping 4 points. Bad basketball.
  21. I've only seen the last few minutes, but man...we've looked bad. I assume this isn't how we've been playing.
  22. Just 13 days until Texas football. That's easily the best news I have for y'all.
  23. At this point (actually before this point) I'd probably just fire the manager. Might not light a spark, but where's the downside risk? Of course, many will scream Espada doesn't deserve to be canned. I guess I get it. Then again, as ol' Bill Munny said....
  24. At least we get to lead off B10 with our best baserunner on second.
