General Washington once invited General Arnold to breakfast. General Washington asked General Arnold "How do you like your eggs, Benedict"?
"Depends. What's the Henway?"

One-dimensional players on the road against two-dimensional players is a clown show in the making.

The rumor on Aggy boards is GA Lee Grimes will be promoted to OL Coach.
He's the guy that allegedly smoothed things over with Shepherd after he broke off communications with The Marine.

If this is what it will take to get us to 1000...let’s not.
Of course, I just added to the steaming pile.

I think the Minnesota player was confused by the fact that for the first time in team history, the team's jerseys and helmets were the same color.

Get well, Derrian. That's all I got.

Seems a long, long time until Wednesday.

There’s typically a difference between hating a former coach and being glad he isn’t running your program any more. That’s where I remain with Rick and Mack.

I've been to a wedding in Brazil in February. (Went early to Rio, the wedding was in São Paulo, then after the work week in São Paulo, I went down to an island for "Carnaval" -Portuguese spelling)
I've been to a wedding in Slane Castle (Ireland) in February. U2 recorded some of their "Unforgettable Fire" album there and there is an annual festival on its grounds down by the River Boyne. Traveled to the western side of the country for a few days before returning to Dublin to watch the big 6 Nations match vs England that was being held in Croke Park... though couldn't get a ticket, so watched it in the Stag's Head near Trinity College.Last year I went to El Salvador for a wedding in February. Everyone stayed in rented houses around a caldera and there was a beautiful late afternoon ceremony with the setting sun and the water behind the priest and then the reception turned into a bit of a rave. (Not unusual for that international crew who mostly know each other through the expat community in Buenos Aires.)
I've had pretty good luck with February weddings. I think that I missed one in New Orleans back in the early 2000s and perhaps one in Ecuador around that time (can't remember exactly), but my experiences were midweek quickies in Vegas.Solid matrimonial humblebrag right there.
FYI, the last wedding I attended was 25 miles outside Rome. Wasn’t going to miss that one. Too bad it was Georgia.

If he’s saying it’s different from Fayettenam, I think virtually everyone else on earth would agree. And take it as a positive.

I think derka posted it earlier this week but we are in the top 40 of adjusted o and d. Whether you wanna blame talent or coaching and it’s pribably a mixture our team u see Shaka has always lacked a killer instinct and not capable of closing out games or winning a big road game.
Short version: We have no leader wearing a uniform or a tie.

I'll be very interested in any post signing day stories regarding Shepherd. For the last several months all of the $9.95er's have postulated that he was gone. There have been suggestions on this board that he may have even given aggy a silent on a visit and planned on flipping on signing day. Then he takes a visit to Alabama and Georgia. One of the $9.95er's put out the rumor that Sabin may have advised him against aggy. That was the moment that the tide turned and several $9.95er's started saying that if Texas gets the last visit he would end up signing with Texas. I can't help but wonder if there is some / any truth to Sabin pushing him our way because this seems to have turned on a dime.
What if Saban is actually trying to push the guy to Texas so we no longer have room for a Waddle transfer?

I translated “blood clot removed from brain” as likely thrombotic process versus “was bleeding in his brain.” Your point is well taken in that we don’t know his diagnosis with any real certainty.
For sure. I don’t even know if my own sniffles are viral or bacterial. So I’ll not venture a guess as to details of a player’s brain injury.

And we were outrebounded by 14 boards against a team that only missed 16 FGs. They literally beat us to their own missed shots 9-7.
Solid assessment. My point is that we won’t win by getting more shots unless we also continue to do the rest of it. Saturday we didn’t guard anyone or hit the boards. That was a really ordinary UGA squad, but they mudholed us.

We need more possessions.
Four days ago, we turned UGA over 20-something times and still got our collective heads kicked in.

I’d love to think this is the start of a big run and Shaka’s long-awaited Texas turnaround. But common sense just won’t let me go there. Burned way too many times already. Prove me wrong, coach.

Kansas looks bored. Shaka is gonna have to dig deep to give this one away.
Not as deep as most other coaches would.

I think Kansas still gets to 60 points. Hoping we get to 61.

He made it in, he’s a player. Apparently a little more diminutive than some would prefer though. He could easily commit to ATM this weekend.
Curious to see if Jimbo decides he's big enough to play in the "hand in the dirt" league.

Given Bevo’s trend toward rambunctiousness, The Goring ‘20s might work as well.
