  1. Penalties, blown assignments and bad play calls. This is straight up ineptitude on both sides of the ball.
  2. Any time Bellinger ends his team's season with a K, it's a pretty good year.
  3. I love watching Texas play, so when we dominate in straight sets without many long rallies I feel a bit cheated. But after this one, I doubt I'll be whining about our next blowout win.
  4. Spears needs to come alive.
  5. Not much happening in the middle so far.
  6. Any speculation about a Houston title in 2026 can be put to rest.
  7. Ol' Snakey finally did the Gomers a favor after handing us another cream puff schedule.
  8. All that preseason chatter about our defense breaking sack records now seems a million years ago. Have Collins, Burke, Spence and Hill really combined for just 2.5 sacks in 5 games? That total literally would have been an average Saturday for Kiki DeAyala.
  9. Texas women's sports in general are strong more often than not any more, and drama is rare. That counts for a lot with me. Those sports are also less (at least visibly) transactional, which is another big plus. Rivals will try to dismiss our women's success as some kind of consolation prize when the football program is going sideways, but that's just part of being a flagship in this part of the world. As Longhorn fans, our cup still runneth over.
  10. This 4th set has been really tight. TO with Louisville up 17-15.
  11. The euthanasia is complete.
  12. She's been trucking some fools lately. Her eyes get really big on those middle lollipops.
  13. We've awakened. But MSU will always have that sleepwalking span by Texas to look back on fondly.
  14. Lethargic second set thus far. Pick it up.
  15. With the way football's been looking, and with my MLB team on extended vacay, it's great to have volleyball cracking skulls and softball and women's hoops getting tuned up for 2026.
  16. Pitching Montero in this situation is a bold strategy, Cotton.
  17. Too late to edit, so let me just say here that I don't know Brenda and thus am not sure if her triangle even has a vortex.
  18. Not to worry. This tiny echo is the lost squadron of Flight 19 finally reemerging from the Brenda Triangle vortex. Game on.

Many of us used to be bookworms. So are we now tapeworms?
  20. Kentucky vs. Ole Miss was mildly interesting, if only in the sense the Wildcats were pedestrian throughout. They swept the hosts, but that didn't take much execution or intensity. Texas looks way stronger.
  21. UGA was never really in the match and appeared to know it, though the ratchet-jawed "analyst" tried to convince everyone otherwise.
  22. The announcer suggesting Texas and all other SEC teams are "pretty beatable" suggests "by teams much better than UGA."
  23. Funny you should mention the Trojans. I fully expect Riley to be hit with an aggy trademark infringement lawsuit any day now.
  24. All things he learned at UGA
