  1. Spears has been way too mortal tonight.
  2. Perfect Longhorn lass
  3. Let's play better.
  4. No argument there.
  5. After Babcock's freshman season I was thinking she needed to enter the portal and get to Austin. Unstoppable when as dialed in as she was today. Oh, well.
  6. Particularly when said team comes into the game being well below average in sacks and TFLs and then throws around our OL like the rag dolls they now seem to be.
  7. Good points. Even with all our troubles, if Arch throws that single slant to Mosley a couple feet lower as the blitz arrives, we might well win in regulation and feel a wee bit better about last night. Credit to Stoops for dialing up the pressure, but I'm sad we weren't able to diagnose and avoid the heat much better than we did.
  8. Mack won a whole lot of games. But we also suffered some devastating losses with teams swimming in NFL talent. OU, Tech, Bama and even Colorado all took their turns beating us when we had the players to prevent it. I call that disappointment, in several cases much worse than this year's.
  9. Pre- and post-VY Mack did a great job of wasting elite talent on both sides of the ball.
  10. After that abomination of a football game last night, I'm even more eager than usual to see our volleyballers stomp a mudhole. The fact they get a chance to do it against OU is even better.
  11. Do what you gotta do to grow the fanbase.
  12. I think there was broad belief Arch would be much better throwing downfield than Quinn was, so it was assumed he'd have no issues throwing the short or intermediate routes. Plus, he'd add a lot more ability to make plays with his legs. Some of those pluses were seen in spot duty, but not as a starter. I guess another way of looking at it is, how would Quinn look standing behind this OL and without Golden, Bijan, Worthy, Helm, Sanders or Blue to throw to? We haven't seamlessly reloaded our weaponry, that's for sure.
  13. I'm sick about our offense, but the fact Arch looked better in it last year suggests to me that our weak OL and lackluster receiver play are largely to blame. Few guys block consistently well. No current WR or TE can get separation play after play. I'm sure not saying Arch is blameless, because he's made a TON of bad throws...but this is a shadow of the offensive group who surrounded him as a backup.
  14. Except for some really good human-interest pieces now and again, I don't get that much out of the Saturday morning shows. And I can watch those videos whenever I like. Almost everything surrounding the games is now so overdone on so many platforms I don't find it worth wading through. But I still love to watch the games themselves.
  15. Pretty sleepy set to this point. Gimme a dose of Devin.
  16. What a roasting this is. Put an apple in that pig's mouth.
  17. Service errors are the false starts of volleyball. It's one thing for the hard servers to do it, but netting lollipops is how good teams get upset.
  18. She's been sneaky good of late.
  19. What on earth? Pull your pretty heads out.
  20. There were many grande plays in this game. One of the biggest was when Arch rolled right and delivered that perfect strike to Alan Jackson inches from the sideline. First and ten, do it again.
  21. Once the early rash of penalties got cleaned up, our offense steadied for the rest of the game. Brooks and the rest of the OL were a huge part of the surge, as were Wisner and Manning. A very good day overall, given how it's been going.
  22. We are bewilderingly undisciplined and in general not a smart team.
  23. When Arch was a backup, Sark didn't mind the risk of running him in certain packages. Now that he's starting, it's as if the risk is too great. I absolutely didn't anticipate that coming into the season. With a porous OL, it's past time to unshackle those legs.
  24. Without flags, some good things occasionally happen with our offense. Not often, occasionally.
