Leiter looked done after five or just being easy on his innings?

Some pretty extensive analysis here, position by position. Looks right to me:

The waterfall effect on the entire pitching staff that a DeGrom that makes it through the year would have gives a 10 win delta. He makes it though, we win 90. He dies before Easter, it's a .500 club.

Just now, Pato del Muerto said:
Quick question- do visa and green card holders have the full protections of the US constitution, or are they considered different than citizens for things like free speech?
obviously not rounded up and locked away, but revocation and deportation maybe?
14th amendment says people, not citizens

i feel like satire should somehow skewer the target. now that i type that, maybe i'm realizing that the fanboys are the target and not elon and it is skewering them?

Be gentle…. I’m not a “March Madness” guy.
Texas is in a play in game with Xavier right? But they are playing for an 11 seed correct? Shouldn’t play in games be to see who gets 16 seed?
when they first started play-in games, that is how it was. maybe only lasted for a year or two. they didn't like how winning a game gave you a reward of immediately getting slaughtered by north carolina or something, so they changed it. mathematically, it makes sense for it to be 16, but the practical application left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

Evan Carter to AAA.

I remember Teagarden being a total spare for us with the bat. Didn't remember his blistering start. Evidently hit 6 bombs in 47 ABs his first year. OPS'd 1.205.

lol at “The Athletics”
DBacks under, Brewers over
SEA under, KCR over.

What did the manager get tossed for? What was he arguing about? I couldn’t tell.

Watching highlights of George Foreman is one of my longtime favorite activities. I’ve posted his gold medal round against some dirty commie before, which is awesome.
But big bald later career Foreman is awesome in a different way. His whole attitude every fight is “like I give a single fuck about any of the punches you’re throwing.” Walks into them. Doesn’t feel them. And just delivers haymaker after haymaker.
All entertaining. If you want one that is particularly amusing, the reset at the 6:00 mark here is great. Dude is out on his feet, George casually strolls up, delivers an uppercut that would kill every person in this board.

Coco ruled. Very little hope for the sequel. The enshittification process has so thoroughly grabbed all versions of rehashing old IP. No one can turn down the finance bros’ money, which leads to the finance bros’ application of the soulless formula for remakes.

that was the same article i started with. i was suspicious when they showed this image:
that doesn't say anything about elon. why they chose that to prove elon did something, i don't know.
so i went to elon's twitter itself to see. it is in fact true:
i hovered over the elon thing at top and it is in fact to his account.

I chased down that tweet Elon did running interference for Hitler, Mao and Stalin. It is in fact real.

I was discussing this with my 7th grade son this morning. Told him that most products don't have a political nature to them: people buy Coke if you are black, white, Texan, California, Republican, Democrat, whatever. The boss is motivated to keep it that way. Broadens your customer base. Electric cars are one exception: a lot on the right think oil production is fundamental to America and don't want electric cars. So the buyers tend to be Democrat. But the boss here says the most fascist stuff possible, alienating his only base. It's wild.
