  1. “We only lost because those damn t-sips distracted us” is about to enter aggy lore for eternity.
  2. This pitcher is gonna blow it.
  3. It's his biggest weakness. I truly think his brain is still firing on all cylinders, but his body just looks and sounds so goddamn old all the time. Meanwhile, Trump has mashed potatoes in his skull but still has the energy of a much younger man... hence the fucked up perception of the candidates.
  4. Biden wins if he doesn't have a viral "old" moment. I wish I was more confident in his ability to clear this hurdle.
  5. That was my initial takeaway as well. To 95% of the baseball world, this is nothing more than a periodic blip across the ticker at the bottom of the screen. To admit that this could potentially overshadow their first chance at a title in OVER EIGHTY YEARS is a huge, unintentional tell... on both their perception of the world, and their true feelings on the chances of Schloss being the pick.
  6. I agree, only the shittiest programs would ever consider flipping an SMU recruit. *takes a big sip of coffee and opens up an article about Elite 11 MVP results*
  7. Random thought likely based on bullshit, but I feel like the Max Weiner publicity tour really started picking up steam at about the same time as the Pierce firing rumors. aggy trying to turn Weiner into their version of Mark Adams (THE REAL REASON FOR OUR SUCCESS IS STILL HERE!!!) seems like a logical and straightforward course of action if they think Schloss is leaving. (counterpoint: there is no way that the aggy athletic department has the foresight to do something like this)
  8. If he hadn’t spent so much time trolling the Astros, I firmly believe he’d be on their roster right now. Knowing that he likely has had the same thought fills my heart with so much glee.
  9. Yeah, people who have been accused of much worse are still playing in the league. He's unemployed because everybody who has ever met him fucking hates him.
  10. I do think Trump's path to victory hasn't been discussed enough. He can flip Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada and still lose. If Biden wins Arizona, then Trump HAS to have Pennsylvania or Michigan. I know the 2020 election was closer than the electoral college would indicate, but Trump really has to thread the needle this year with a coalition of very different voting bases.
  11. Valid thought, and maybe why you shouldn't commit anywhere in January of your Sophomore year.
  12. Plan for today.
  13. I honestly won't even be surprised if he gets left out if he doesn't reach 3,000.
  14. This is typically because functioning political parties are able to formulate a compelling counter message against the current party in charge. As long as fealty to Trump is the only thing that matters to the GOP, any historic precedence is out the window.
  15. Imagine knowing anything about Jack Black and thinking he is not liberal.
  16. I mean, this was like the main plot of Season 2.
  17. *Joe Biden delivers a normal debate performance* PRONGHORN in November: YEAH BUT THAT WAS MONTHS AGO!!!!
  18. A head coach leaving aggy for Texas seems far-fetched and I am in no way saying that I think it will happen, but the Schloss/CDC relationship is definitely a variable that complicates things. (from 2022) https://thebatt.com/sports/impatient-the-story-of-jim-schlossnagle/ Del Conte and Schlossnagle already knew each other — Schlossnagle’s reputation preceded him. Together in Fort Worth, Del Conte gave Schlossnagle an avenue to life outside of baseball within the university. Every Sunday, for years, the two would walk a three-mile loop around campus.“We would just talk about our lives, talk about our families, talk about everything but sports. Some days in the game, the game gets so all consuming that you don’t have an outlet to talk about anything else besides the game,” Del Conte said. “Our conversations were nothing about the game. [We talked about] what we wanted for our kids, what we wanted for life. Those are my most cherished memories [with Jim] because the wins and losses are difficult. Long after the game of baseball is over, he’ll be a friend of mine.”
  19. Ignore, fooled by trolls online.
