  1. Hahaha damn you @Dr. Beeper. And you know I'm going to take the bait every time. I just think it's funny that streaming listeners think their behavior is the norm. For the most part that's going to be reserved for the absolute most loyal listeners. I've been a P1 since day 1 and the only time I stream is when I'm on the road and I get too far out of town to pick up the signal. I'll occasionally yell at Alexa to turn it on when I'm getting ready for work, but I think I've done that once since this lockdown started. I'm a little older than a lot of y'all sure, but I'm right in the middle of the Ticket's target demo. To think that any radio station could possibly benefit from taking people out of their cars and off the road is absolutely nuts. I'd be shocked if most stations were getting more than a third of their regular listenership. And I know for a fact that stations ( again all of them, not just the Ticket) are lucky to get fifty cents on the dollar for the spots they're running right now.
  2. Jesus you are a worthless, miserable fuck. Put me on ignore.
  3. Yeah, he said it. I've already gotten an email about how it the was "good: for my company (we work with a shitload of restaurants). And lighten the fuck up Francis. I'm dying to eat out. That was the joke.
  4. It's a must for me on any creamy (hate that word) dish, like @gernblansten mentioned clam chowder, any rice dish/casserole that uses a "cream of" soup in the recipe, stuff like that.
  5. My friend was looking for something of the dine-in variety, but it looks like the governor might be getting that taken care of- said restaurants could start re-opening as soon as next week (with reduced/limited capacity).
  6. Anyone heard of any underground/speakeasy restaurants in Dallas serving enchiladas and margaritas? Asking for a friend.
  7. 😁 I went crazy early on in this whole deal, but I ain't mad.
  8. How? Well, I would start by pulling fake numbers out of my ass (that no one cares about enough to disprove) like they're doing. Whenever streaming spots cost more than $10 a piece (or aren't just flat out given away as added value), then I'll start to take Junes' claims seriously. But I haven't listened to radio in a month so wtf do I care.
  9. Last night it was a Shepard's Pie of sorts. Leftover sides from Easter, leftover fajita chicken (thigh), some japs.
  10. I'm thinking back to Fridays at Briargrove Elementary in Houston and the fried square fish "filets" that had a layer of american cheese under the breading. Yeah, I wouldn't go there. Or maybe I would. They were fucking delicious to my nine year old ass though.
  11. People think "stay ready" is about arming yourself, but it's actually about always having taco meat on hand. Makeshift double-decker with refrieds, tortilla chips, cheese, Huy Fong chili garlic sauce, and a drizzle of homemade ranch.
  12. I fucking love y'all. If I was ever on that feng shui show where you get rid of shit I would 100% keep both of you.
  13. He's a friend of the Ticket @Dr. Beeper. Or he used to be anyway. Summer Bash and shit. You're gonna lose cult points if you're not careful.
  14. I would definitely prefer it (though I did like Ferrall), but the number of listeners would literally be in the hundreds. Like less than 500.
  15. It would cost them the money they make leasing that airtime to CBS. They wouldn't make a penny airing re-runs between midnight and 5a.
  16. Construction pics. Cooked a bunch of fajita meat on Sunday so I grabbed some bolillo rolls last night and it was on. Butter toasted roll, refrieds, fajita steak, lettuce, tomato, fresh japs, cilantro, avocado, @futureman style mayo slathering, Herdez on the table. Got too excited and forgot to slice some damn onion- good thing I have more bolillos. Sorry 'bout the plate.
  17. How does one get "spurned" by a radio station? Hahaha. Who gives a fuck though. @Spankytoes is the motherfucking worst. The worst! But also the best.
  18. No, not the Observer- the Met actually. They did a big story on RJ Choppy.
  19. Was it not? Someone on Twitter said it was going to be when I first read it was coming out. Oh well, there goes my credibility.
