That pisses me off
i’d have taken my 1988 Gulf-sponsored full-size bat giveaway to that asshole if I had the opportunity

Astros fan base is about 10% trash. They goto games for the free giveaways, then try to resell for cash. They steal those giveaways from other fans, to resell. These caps were bought up to be resold10% is about 50% too low….
and goes for all of society, not just Astros fan base

Unpopular opinion: Tucker needs to be traded this year.
Tucker has been one of my favorite players and I’d love to see him around for the better part of another decade but whatever remaining window we have is not only going to come slamming shut but also locked tight for the majority of that deal if it were to be made.
we’d have way too much money invested in way too few guys and absolutely no reinforcements coming through the minors.
Realistically, we’re going to be sitting around the Christmas tree 2025 without Tucker and no prospect haul, save a QO compensation pick.
one trade will never re-stock an entire system, but a chip like Tucker could lay a pretty strong foundation.
I’m looking at the Red Sox. Kyle “Ted” Tucker playing where the actual Ted did. And we can reset with a guy that looks a lot like maybe the next Tucker (#17 prospect Roman Anthony…Florida kid, plus power, decent speed, solid arm). And also pull #12 Marcelo Mayer and move him to third when Bregman walks and find one or two other lottery tickets if the Sox will throw them in

You want to start a rookie (and not a broadly regarded one) on a team with championship aspirations?
Worked out ok at our SS position in 2022.

He won’t get there because of pitch count restrictions but I’ll go ahead and call Kerry Wood watch in Wrigley…
and Jim Deshaies watch as I’m listening to him call this game.

Assuming you mean Dubin, he pitched 3 IP last night. Abreu certainly isn’t going down, so Seth Martinez is the only other one with options. I don’t se Seth going down and killing 2 pen arms in one day a man down
…With hunter brown starting

they kicked our asses plenty last yearWut?
We were 10-3 against them last year.
We’ve played a season’s worth of games against them since 2015. We’re a 100 win team against them in that span
101-63

Tiger was high and driving like a maniac. I don't see the point of having a driver if you fully capable of operating a vehicle like a normal person unless you hate driving. If that's the case, yeah he certainly has the fuck you money to hire a driver. Unless the passenger seat is the safest spot in a vehicle a driver offers no safety benefits. It's just a convenience. He's just as likely to be a shitty driver as you are yourself. And I would guess had there been a driver in this situation both would still have been arrested.
This.
beat me to it.
driver causes a wreck and it would be: “man, these guys are so entitled, if they would just have some humility and take care of something themselves every now and then, none of this would have happened”

If I’m Scottie, I’m pretty stoked I now know I only need ~25 minutes to warm up before first tee and can now sleep in for 3-4 extra hours on those early tee times

My college roommate thought Gerald Young was the next Rickey.
He had to settle for being a poor man’s Honduran Rickey Henderson

Unfortunately for my son, that player is now George Springer
(And he was too young to remember 2017)

Luis Gonzalez (Probably doesn't count.... he was a good / solid player. I'm doing him a disservice.)
then it has to be James Mouton.
I loved going "Mooooooo" when he came up to the plate.
But nothing beats 14 year old DNAkid's 1998 summer when I got to watch every single game of a kick ass team. Every single inning. And then they got Randy f'n Johnson. I was in heaven.
Then Kevin Brown drowned my dreams in a bathtub.
From my outfield nosebleed rainbow seats, I just KNEW we were going to pull out game 1 when Spiers hit a leadoff double against Hoffman in the 9th with the middle of the order coming up.
alas…

Nepotism … he’s Stephen A. Smith’s redneck brother by another mother. That and he fulfills an ESPN hiring demographic.
That answers how he has an espn job.
it doesn’t answer how he has *this* job

How does Marty Smith have this job?

It’s a shame that Tiger didn’t have a tee time this morning just to see how espn handled this news with Tiger on the course.
”just a tragic event followed by a surreal set of circumstances as we go split screen with Scottie arriving and Tiger from the trees on #8.”

Horrible look for the city of Louisville. Fucking clown show cops arresting the #1 player in golf and handcuffing him with his hands behind his back like a criminal. Scheffler should have just gotten a ticket. I’m sure Valhalla and the PGA are super pissed at Louisville’s “finest”. Louisville will never host another PGA after this debacle.
PGA radio said earlier the Mayor was in contact with head PGA officials.
yeah, I bet so.
