Anyone else get their May ballpark pass today?

Going to be able to stroll down to the 5th row like it's 2012 again.

    Man idk.

    August? Sure

but I think people will still be holding on to the bandwagon through at least the ASB.

but yeah, when they put the 2nd half single game tickets on sale, gon be crickets unless they find a hot streak

This is hard core suckitude.  Singleton’s inability to barrel and elevate is going to end his career.  He’s badass at taking pitches knowing when to swing but he fucking rolls over everything.

    He’ll have 2-3 dongs in Mexico City….

unless he rides line with Espada deciding the altitude is a good place to hope Abreu gets under one or two to try and a light a spark (that will immediately be put back out at MMP).

  3. Good news: the offense should go nuts in Mexico City.

bad news: we still have to pitch…. And the Rockies are used to playing in thin air…. Although maybe not that thin…. Mexico City sits ~ half a mile higher than Denver.

  4. 2 outs, RISP (Before tonight):

    team BA: .236

    BAbip: .313

    getting tired of this.

i keep waiting for the 180 and us to reel off about 10 straight wins, but instead we just keep finding more ridiculous ways to lose.

    Tuve!!

    Cheater!!!!111!11!

I took a little break after the Meyers strikeout...why the fuck did he put Abreu in at 1st?  Leave Meyers in center and put Dubon at 1st.  This shit isn't that hard.

Seriously. You know that shit will bite us in the 10th

  6. We just finding ways to fuck up the little things every single night and all too often it involves baserunning.

If Pena stays on first in the 4th, we’d have had bases loaded with 1 out and who knows how that inning plays out

    Edit: stop merging me!

    Neris has been shitty.

    let’s  get ours

    Edit: seriously. stop merging me!

More excuses from our joke of a GM. Trying to deflect from the crappy job he did during the offseason.

He’s been using the same sound bites for a couple of months.

This is at least the third time I’ve seen the “we’ve played the equivalent of over a half of an extra baseball season” quote in the past month

  8. It’s amazing to me how hard it is for an average to continue to fall once you get below the Abreu line (.100)… yet, here he is continuing his March to .050.

0 for his last 21, average *only* dropped from .089 to .065

This summer, an unheard album from the great Johnny Cash will see public release after three decades in the vault. Set to arrive on June 28 via Mercury Nashville/UMe, Songwriter comprises 11 songs written by Cash through his first four decades of performance, pairing entries from his early outlaw era with then-new compositions for a portrait of the artist’s prowess on paper. Cash recorded and shelved the project in 1993, where it remained until being uncovered by John Carter Cash brought to bear with a dream team of the legend’s former collaborators and present devotees.  As a first taste, the Cash estate has released the preview single “Well Alright.”

“Well Alright” is well-suited to honor Cash’s voice, sharing a slice of life with his trademark grounded, folksy wit and keen eye for social convention. Warm electric twangs lead a shuffling, locomotive backbeat, courtesy of former bandmates guitarist Marty Stuart, drummer Pete Abbott and late bassist Dave Roe. Other contributors to the new arrangements supporting Cash include Vince Gill, who sings on “Poor Valley Girl,” and Dan Auerbach, who adds a guitar solo to “Spotlight.” This most exciting crossover here comes from the late legend Waylon Jennings, who shares duets with Cash on “I Love You Tonite” and album closer “Like a Soldier.”

Mine went up 15.1%. WTF.  I guess the two new constructions on my street that went for $2.1M in the past year fucked up everyone's valuations.

My improvements increased almost 50%.  There have been no improvements.

Hopefully Pro Tax can fix it.

This is me…except no new construction on my street. (University Hills)

    20% increase. Wtf.

improvements increased 40% (no changes to land). There have been no improvements.
