  1. Hard to beat Target Field and Comerica in mid to late August
  2. I can neither confirm nor deny that #13 was warming up to come in for the 13th had Urias not walked it off
  3. JV with his best start of the year 7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BBs, 8 Ks, 88 pitches
  4. Did this get discussed on TV, because Ford/Sparks didn’t mention it. needs more attention as it’s never happened before in MLB history.
  5. Shitty defensive inning for Holliday
  6. But dammit. i wanted to see the pitcher up for the lulz/f Espada
  7. Urias to end this or we get the 13th with a pitcher on deck
  8. I too had the “where is LMJ’s bat when you need it” thought
  9. Some stupid rule that says if it would otherwise be a pitcher in the spot of the last batter of the previous inning, you can go to the previous batter (Urias)
  10. De los Santos (or another pitcher) due up 5th in the bottom of the inning. if they get 2 outs at any point without the run scoring, look for IBBs to load them up to get to the pitcher
  11. A pitcher wasn’t running the bases
  12. No actually it might be! happened in the minors in 2018, but don’t think it’s happened in the majors
  13. Our bullpen isn’t holding this to the 13th when that would become a problem
  14. Holy non-Astros TOOTBLAN!
  15. They did just camp on that Correa walkoff 10 years ago
  16. These pinch hitters are sure no Bill Spiers. Or even Victor Caratini
  17. Or just keeping being Altuve
  18. Alexander is that 2 run homer away from having a 20 inning scoreless streak
  19. Hank Jr - Country Boy Can Survive bumper music on the radio after the Wagner segment. Well played
  20. Altuve could really learn a lot from Correa’s approach in these situations. thats the 2nd time this week that Correa has gone the opposite way just poking the ball through the infield to drive in a run
  21. Dude, the reality is the game has changed. Ripken at 40/50/60% was better than any pitcher he was facing as well as his backup. Guys that aren’t 100% (or close to it) going against guys that are is a failure waiting to happen
  22. What does that even mean So he can have a 3 pitch inning but he’s done, the same as if it takes him 26 pitches like it usually does to get through one inning?
  23. You don’t want to know
