  1. Forget the abortion of the game…can we talk about the side line reporter?  Pretty sure I saw the baby kick during that last update.  Even money that her water breaks live and on air, shit she’s probably crowning as we speak.

  2. The son of one of my clients played for NMST the last time they played a fall game.  He transferred to ASU and apparently there was a max exodus of young talent.  You can’t replace game reps, one shitty team has had more meaningful game reps than the other in the past year.  I’ll take the team that has.

  3. I’ve used sportsbook.ag for years and have no complaints.  Easy platform to use, nice reup bonuses and get paid in about 10 business days.  Will probably dump it after this football season though, in order to onshore, since it’ll be legal in AZ in a few weeks.

  4. I grew up in Florida, my old man won an ACC championship ring at South Carolina.  Yes, ACC, it was 1969.  Needless to say I’ve been to Columbia more times than I can count over multiple decades.  I’ve also been to games at UF, UTenn, UGA, Auburn, Vandy, Kentucky, and Ole Miss.  I played in games at Auburn, UF, Alabama and UGA.  I took officials to Auburn Vandy and UK.  I have a fair amount of knowledge of a lot of the OG SEC towns.  Maybe we should start a sub forum and people with intimate knowledge can write something up about the different towns.  Where to eat, drink, where to stay, where to tailgate..etc.  Just a thought, but it might be nice to have a resource all in one place to help plan road trips.  I never plan on going to CS or Starkville.  Ever.

  5. Back to the Monty debate….yes it’s a player driven league, but the coach matters.  Not necessarily for their coaching abilities.  The players on this Suns team love playing for Monty and after this playoff run, they can have their pick of pieces to fill out the roster for years to come.  As shitty as Sarver has been as an owner, he’s on the record saying that he has no problem paying the tax if it makes them a contender.  The coach matters in the sense that he needs to be able to attract good pieces to play for him, keep them happy when they are playing for him, and not fuck things up by trying to over-coach in the playoffs.  I’d say Monty has checked all 3 boxes over the last 12 months.  Suns should win in 4 or 5 and the ECF could go 6 or 7.  If it plays out that way, PHX will be well rested heading into the finals.

  6. I would take Monty Williams over any other coach in the association right now.  Good dude, great demeanor, so much adversity/tragedy and keeps being a better guy/motivator.  Suns win the finals in 6.  Mark it dude.

ok. so my bank account was low, so I took a chance on the 2 for $5 Burger King special on the way to the DFW airport.  But first I stopped at a Kroger's to get a whole apple pie.  So, I'm going through TSA with 2 whoppers and a full apple pie in the backpack.  The TSA chick told me she would have to look at my food, and sure enough, "this is making me hungry" comes out of her mouth.  I just smiled and said thank you.

Whopper not bad.  Kroger apple pie better.

How was your mid flight shit over British Columbia?

i'm. it the one who chose MJ, KD, and LBJ as points of comparison; i responded to someone else who did that. you don't have to convince me of MJ's greatness.

Fair enough.  I might be far from sober, but I still like to keep it real.  You were the wrong person to call out.  Mole, on the other hand, is very uniformed if he wants to compare those 4.  Today’s NBA is very different.  Giannis, KD, LBJ would have all thrived in yesterday’s NBA.  They are all studs and all stars in any generation.  MJ owns them all.  On any court, any generation, any year.  As it stands for this year… G doesn’t have the supporting cast.  Nets are way to top heavy and have way too many capable role players.  If this thing gets to 5 it’ll be a surprise, and that’s with JH in street clothes.

KD and MJ >>>>>>>>> Giannis re: shooting at 26

LBJ: better than Giannis at essentially everything at 26

Listen, I’m not a Chicago guy or an MJ guy, but I give credit where it is due.  MJ doesn’t belong in this argument.  It’s also unfair to compare at age 26, when they came into the Association at different ages.  I get that this it is a Texas board and KD is a man amongst boys.  He’s a first ballot HOFer, but he’s not MJ.  LeBron is not MJ.  MJ averaged at least 30 ppg for 7 of his first 9 seasons.  KD and LJ have done that 4 combined times, in 31 combined seasons.  I get that there are so many other factors that contribute to stats, but MJ had a pretty complete game.  Please take him out of your future arguments.  As for the 2021 playoffs, it’ll be Nets v Suns.  Nets win in 6 without Harden.  5 with.
