  1. He’s a 16 year old about to start his Junior year in HS. Every big name school and big name coach is kissing his ass begging him to come to their school. I have known him since he was 5. He’s a great kid and his parents are completely grounded. His dad is most interested in education. Tunmise is having fun with the process. Can you blame him? What would you have done at 16? He won’t commit until his senior year. All we have to do is win and he will be here with Jalen. He was vocal in getting schools to look at Jalen and now he’s committed to us. Let the process play out and let the kid enjoy the process. How you can root against a 16 year old because he’s acting like a 16 year old is beyond me. If he commits somewhere else, so be it. He’s a great kid and very humble and I said 2 years ago he would end up here....we shall see.
  2. It only made sense to turn this into a cheese board. I was at a meeting for 3 days and didn’t get to read from Sunday until last night...about 30 pages worth of shit. The last 30 pages have been a ball beat. What pairs best with cheese? Whine. Because that’s all some muthafukas did for 3 goddamn days and 30 pages. Drink 🍷 to go with your 🧀 Ok, cool. Hook’em
  3. In on 420 and all the cheese. I heard that aggy was storing up French cheese in a barn just in case there were some replays of the cucking that Jimbo was so fond of. Evidently it blew up. There was Da Brie all over the place.
  4. Zachary Evans is the Bo Callahan of HS football players. He will be perfect for the $EC
  5. Be interesting to see if it is a package deal.....all reports were that Evans was looking at depth charts and wanted to be ‘“the” guy on the roster. Bama signed 2 5* last class and if he goes, there are 3. Playing time will be tough. The $9.95’ers were saying that we would only offer Evans and he would be the only RB we would take this cycle....that obviously was click bait. We get Bijan and it’s a wash. Adrian Peterrrrrr......Zack Evans will be able to watch Texas “Get there” just like AD watched us win a MNC. I have never understood why these kids take shots at Texas when they are choosing another school. Be happy with your decision and shut the f$ck up. Paging Garrett Wilson.....
  6. The Dallas curse is over. Fuck you EJ!!
  7. Best of luck to him. He made a choice and then another choice and now he gets to make another choice. These kids are turned into rock stars during the recruiting process and have their asses kissed to the max. They believe their hype and that they can walk in and take the spot of a grown ass man. It turns out that most are just scared kids that aren’t ready for the real world. No hate for Bru. Wish him luck and move on and we can send him best wishes when we play for that Natty in the next 2 years while he’s breaking in a new head coach, AD, position coach and prepping for January workouts with his boys from Mater Dei.
  8. AUSTIN, Texas — This is how tall the odds were facing Texas when coach Tom Herman, receivers coach Drew Mehringer, quarterback Sam Ehlinger and player personnel director Kevin Washington landed in Los Angeles on Wednesday to try to rally talented receiver Bru McCoy back to Austin: McCoy hadn’t returned calls, texts or emails from Texas personnel for more than two weeks, sources close to the situation told Horns247.com. So if the Texas contingent went into Wednesday feeling like McCoy’s mind was already made up to do the unthinkable — use the NCAA transfer portal to return to USC less than six months after using it to leave USC for Texas — they were probably justified, sources said. LATEST FROM CBS SPORTSSee optimized fantasy football cheat sheetsSportsLine simulated the 2018 NFL season 10,000 times and predicted every player's true performance. It might be a small victory that both Texas and McCoy emerged from Wednesday's meeting in Los Angeles with Texas willing to give McCoy a little more time to sort through his next move. At this point, it would be an upset if McCoy decided to return to Texas, because if there’s one thing people close to McCoy, the nation’s No. 9 overall prospect in 2019, know about him, he’s stubborn. To a fault. It drives his father, Horace, who played tight end at Northern Illinois in 1994, crazy, causing some heated arguments between the two, sources said. Sources close to the situation said Horace scolded his son to stick with his enrollment at USC in January, only to watch Bru pack up and leave for Texas, after then-USC offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury left to become head coach of the Arizona Cardinals. Then, Horace McCoy argued with his son to return to Texas after Bru came home to Los Angeles nearly three weeks ago, at the end of the UT spring semester, with ideas of transferring back to USC. Sources close to the family are incredibly aware of the public relations hit Bru McCoy would take if he returns to USC. McCoy would become the first student-athlete in FBS history to transfer from one school to another and back — within six months — before ever competing in a single contest in their scholarship sport. PAID CONTENT BY INTEL CORPORATIONAI-Powered Supply ChainsSee how AI-powered digital transformation simplifies and connects processes at Intel. McCoy’s parents have told Bru he'd have a good chance to gain immediate eligibility at Texas through an NCAA waiver he has yet to sign. It's a near certainty McCoy would have to sit out a year if he transfers back to USC, sources said. A former NFL coach who is familiar with McCoy’s situation told Horns247 the first question Bru McCoy is going to get from NFL personnel if he becomes a draft prospect is, “You got a problem with commitment? Should we not draft you in Green Bay or Buffalo, because you don’t like the cold or you’re gonna get homesick?” But sources said McCoy’s parents weren’t crazy about him going to Mater Dei, and Bru went anyway and had a standout high school experience on and off the field. It’s the bonds he formed with teammates at Mater Dei who are now at USC, including Trojans’ quarterback JT Daniels and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, that appear to be drawing him back to USC. McCoy is also close to current Mater Dei quarterback Bryce Young, who is committed to USC. Daniels and St. Brown have told McCoy the USC offense is going to be explosive under Air Raid disciple Graham Harrell, who was hired to replace Kingsbury in February, two weeks after McCoy left for Texas. “Bru’s best friend at Texas is De'Gabriel Floyd, a fellow Cali(fornia) kid who just got diagnosed with spinal stenosis and is out of football for the 2019 season,” one source said. “He feels close with receivers coach Drew Mehringer, but he can’t tell if Tom Herman likes Mehringer or might be looking to replace him. “So, for better or worse, right or wrong, he doesn’t feel like he has a strong inner circle at Texas like he would at USC. Of course, he hasn’t even been at Texas long enough to have much of an inner circle.” 10COMMENTS And then there’s the tenuous job security of USC football coach Clay Helton, who lost five of his last seven games and might need to win nine in 2019 to keep his job. If Helton doesn’t have a turnaround season, he and USC athletic director Lynn Swann could both be out. “Texas just won 10 games, went to the Big 12 title game, beat Georgia in the Sugar Bowl and wants to make McCoy a centerpiece in the offense as a freshman,” one source close to the situation said. “Meanwhile, McCoy could be going back to total chaos at USC if things don’t go exactly right.”
  9. My son talked to him and he seems serious. They have been playing together since the 6th grade and TA is using his new found “stardom” to try and help out his boys. I still think it will be Texas or A&M that wins out. I have watched JM and I don’t think he’s a Top QB. Definitely not a Tier 5 school. That could change...he’s going into his JR year and could improve. If he does...then I would suspect that all the big schools will be offering up the package to get the deal.
  10. That’s the truth. How do all these schools get guys who can hit an open jumper and we get guys who could build the new arena during shoot around?
  11. This is pathetic. How can we not recruit players that can’t shoot? I think the Shaka experience has shelf life of 1 year. If not for the buyout, he’d be gone. They better show up in the NIT.
  12. I hope he continues to trend our way. His father is adamant about education. Tunmise has a good head on his shoulders and will be an exemplary student and citizen. He will be “Acho-esque” in that aspect. He’s 15 and enjoying the process. I think he ends up in Austin. My son and him have talked about going to UT together. Be a lot cooler if they did.
  13. Yes. He’s 15. He’s enjoying the process. When he signs with Texas all will be forgiven.
  14. Rent Free. Wow. May be the best retort on Twitter in a long time.
  15. I think he was tramalized by the whole experience.
  16. Short bus, window licking, crayon eating, mouth breathers. Fuck all of them
  17. Fuck Theo Weese. Horns down? What a dumbass. He’s perfect for OU
  18. Demas showed up to almost every home game. I think we flip him. I also think we will get Zack Evans. We will take a grad transfer and hopefully RS Brown. Ingram and the GT play all next year and Evans will hop right in in 2020 with Ingram and Brown. Sam will be a SR and the running game will be devastating.
  19. If Hamm’s ex-old lady had waited a year, she could have been banging the pool boy.
  20. Dude....he’s a pool cleaner....not a meat gazer. Advantage aggy
  21. Good choice. He has the frame to add good weight and the foot movement to be a star. I expect to see him on the field in 2021. I think he’s going to be a beast but needs 3 years with Yancy and 3 years with Herb to become a tactician. Now we just need Bru and another DT
