I still laugh in horror over the #ImWithHer slogan. They had their heads so far up their asses.

That was MUCH better than the “HERstory” shit.  I’m all for people succeeding and achieving their goals and shit.  But I don’t get excited to vote for a candidate so they can check some box on their bucket list.  I pick a candidate because I believe their policies are best for me, my family, and my country.

Hillary had no message, save: (1) it’s my turn and (2) at least I’m not Donald Trump. It was a really shitty campaign.  Like historically tone deaf and arrogant.

Like Fozz, I think it possibly could have been a payout, since he does work for Fox News.

But then again, it could be just a way to access/communicate with Trump.

But then there’s the Wikileaks stuff.

Why would Hannity need to go through Cohen?  He supposedly talks directly to Trump all the time.

Literally none of those are true.  And they left out the part where the Bible says insects have 4 legs

How the fuck did they get that wrong? It’s not like the number of legs on an insect was some hidden secret of physics.  You just pick up a bug and count to 6.

Next up, "To be frank, we were conspiring to commit crimes.  Was that wrong?"

“Aaaaand we’re back from break.  To clarify my earlier comments, the only conversations I’ve had with Michael Cohen were purely to satisfy my romantic fantasies of having a lawyer talk dirty to me in legalese.  No actual advice was provided.  Only fake advice and, to be clear, only for the purposes of indulging my unusual fetish.  We’ll be right back after this extended commercial break.”

Hannity might be blowing his privilege.

Just by saying "attorney-client" doesn't automatically make the discussion privileged.

You also don’t need to pay the attorney to be covered by the privilege.  That said, there’s a good argument that Hannity was not a client or seeking to become a client.

Wait, I thought Trump was a billionaire...Wouldn't the "ruling class" cut him some slack since he was in the club?

He’s a billionaire who also happens to be the most powerful man in the world.  But he’s being oppressed by the ruling class.

The idiocy of that argument is so obvious that Lee Smith might as well have “IMBECILE” tattooed in bright red letters on his forehead.  But 35% of American voters will just nod and think “that makes sense to me!” without noticing the fundamental absurdity.

It's silly to want a discussion on the economics of slavery to be a biography of Lincoln.

That’s a really poor analogy.  The economics of slavery is not a religion, and its principles are not derived from the life and acts of Abe Lincoln.

Christians worship Jesus Christ as god.   His every word and every act are considered sacred.  He was literally God on Earth in their view.  To say his biography is irrelevant to a discussion of Christian doctrine, principles, or behavior is ludicrous.  The fact that God walked on earth, and the shit He purportedly did here,  is the whole fucking point of the religion.   When a guy like Paul is writing to persuade other Christians about how to behave, the single most important evidence he should be citing would be the acts and words of Jesus.  The guy who supposedly founded the Church that bore his name some 20 years prior.

But Paul doesn’t say dick about it, even when Jesus’s own teachings would be directly on point.  Paul never says “Hey, as you all know, God was actually here a few years ago, and He said to do X.  So fucking do X like God told you.”  The only thing that even approaches that type of argument is his discussion of the Lord’s supper, which reads like a myth.  And which Paul claims he received directly from Jesus.  Since he admits he never met Jesus in real life, he is clearly claiming a revelation from a supernatural Lord (not a real dude).

What the fuck are you talking about? That makes no sense.

It’s the same reason there’s no such thing as a biography.  It’s silly to talk about an important person’s life.
