  1. I'd bet if Texas ended up losing big to OSU due primarily to QB play you certainly would.
  2. Didn't say everyone would have a different take and even noted that I supposed I got the hate. Further, said I didn't love his smack talk. So.. we agree.
  3. Please point out where in that post, this thread or any thread I've said Sark doesn't know what he's doing, much less suggest I want to get rid of sark outside of game thread venting where I've never said we should fire Sark. Moreover, I was talking about Quinn and his limitations. However, this particular dialog between us started with me actually giving a compliment to BOTH Quinn and Sark. Let's pause there a minute. I was complimenting our QB and our HC. Then you decided it was important to point out that's why Quinn was playing QB for Texas as well as noting he gives us our best chance to win. After I complemented Quinn. I agreed but noted I reserved the right to point out issues in Quinn performance. To which you responded that a lack of running performance is the only thing that hampers this offense. That leads me to believe that your position is that any offensive issues we have are based purely on the run game and Quinn and the OC have zero culpability when teams scheme to stop Texas run game, force us to pass and succeed. We've struggled against every team that has a good defense and they scheme specifically to limit our run and force Quinn and thereby Sark to throw. So, if Sark and Quinn can't overcome a defensive strategy to stop our run and force us to pass, the liability is purely on the offensive line and RBs. The HC/OC and QB are not culpable in any way? Is that accurate? It's not the blocking scheme our HC/OC draws up? It's never the running plays our HC/OC draws up? It's never Quinn's fragile physicality? It's never Quinn’s lack of speed? It's never Quinn’s misread of a D? It's never a lack of adjustments by the HC to attack a D scheme set up to challenge us to throw? It's never Quinn's read of the DBs? It's never the passes Quinn throws? It's never Quinn's check downs passes? It's never Quinn not feeling pressure in the pocket?
  4. Well there's the rub, I think part of our issues running is the play calling based on our QB's limitations that allows DCs to scheme and stop our run. Part of it the blocking scheme, part is the running plays called, part of it is what throws our HC trusts our QB to make, part of it is our OL performance, part of it is our RBs, part of it is what throws our QB is comfortable making, part of it is what throws our QB is "allowed" to make by the HC/OC, part of it is the QB's ability to read the defense, part of it is a lack of a truly mobile QB, part of it is our QB's comfort in calling audibles (or potential the HC's limitations placed on the QB's ability to audible), and part on the HC/OC's adjustment to the DCs game plan based on all these factors. It's normal for people to want a simple answer to complex issues. To point to a single aspect and say this is why or this is why not. When you do so, it never really allows for discussion of the complex nuance that is any complex topic and a football offense is a complex topic that can't be boiled down to simply Quinn sucks, our running game sucks our RBs suck or our OL sucks. None of those are correct in and of themselves. It's a combination of factors.
  5. Not many people who criticize Ewers here disagree with that take. While I do agree, it doesn't mean he's not without his flaws. I reserve the right to point them out. I've also leaned into the aspect/thought that some of Quinns issues might be in part due to Sark's management of the offense and Quinn.
  6. I suppose I get the hate for Scatteboo, but if he played for Texas I think a lot of the haters would have extremely different takes on him. I truly appreciate how he gives it everything on the field, appreciate his love for his team, think he's an extremely talented but not great RB, and don't love his smack talk. He's good for college football and that matters most to me.
  7. That's Quinn and Sark killing it, imo. That it was an audible option, Sark. That Quinn read the coverage, called the audible and executed it flawlessly, 100% Quinn.
  8. He's this generations Steve Spurrier for me. I can't stand him, but I'm actually glad he's there. The world needs a foil.
  9. If you asked me what conference Texas, aggie and pig were from, at this point I'd probably say swc. The BIG 12 was good for Texas but it was also chock full of cry baby pussies. I'm looking at you Corn, Prime Time, Misery and aggie.
  10. But what a critical and glorious time for a stuff it was!!!!
  11. And what is the grade for getting 2 out of 5? Hint, it's not passing. Now go grab a drink and leave the history talk to the Boomers.
  12. Just nod at his posts roll your eyes and move on. It's the best approach.
  13. You missed my edit. 😉 I'm not drunk nor on vacation so, NO PASS for you!!!
  14. QB game winning passes is the subject. Further more, the field goal against Michigan in the Rose Bowl by Dusty Mangum is absolutely ahead of the win over aggie. Get your history book open, take notes and please try and keep up.
  15. Texas had been FUPM 10 win season teams since 2005 prior to the Fiesta Bowl. We needed that game badly and it set up next year's run. It was over win or lose. So I'll call it a push. As for the OSU game, Texas loses and there is zero chance OSU with a single lost to PSU and the B1G championship doesn't get in over Texas. So, in effect while earlier in season it was a play off game, against the #3 team (then and at end of season) team that had been second only to USC in domination. With the world as it was then it definitely was a playoff level win against a better opponent at their house that nobody thought Texas would win. I put that above victory over a good but not great ASU team particularly since the book isn't written on this season yet. That last aspect is why I currently put the OSU victory by Colt ahead of a playoff win. The ASU play will surpass Colts play if we make the Final, imo.
  16. Right now, Dear Leader(s) El Loocidore and Graham Master Spunk are hearding the cattle to the roller-coaster slaughter gates with brilliant propaganda. Only after they've gotten in line for the ride with the then the nearly impossible task of buckling in the whale be addressed. In the meantime we get to enjoy all the ND wish casting and revisionist history along with the tons of OSU will kill tu talk. It gets desperate and wild if Texas wins and ND loses to Pedo State.. but.. I don't think either is likely.
  17. Disagree and these were on the last page Colt to Crosby 2009 Fiesta Bowl 16 second left. I could see putting last night above this one, but I think it's debatable. VY to Limas Sweed last minute at #3 OSU. This was basically a playoff game and OSU only lost to PSU #4 at end of season. Texas went on the win the National Championship. If Ewers beats OSU and win the National championship, these are 4A and 4B, but not until he does.
  18. Don't neglect to include Baylor in rape and homicide enabled universities and athletics programs that should have been shut down forever! In hate and amount of damage.. I'd rank it: 1A) PedoState 1B) MSU 2) Rapelor MSU did more damage for a longer period of time, but at least their fucking fans didn't defend it nor did the university erect a statue of the ring leader.
  19. Port A says hold my meth pipe.
  20. Mmmmmmhmmmmm I been telling you all.
  21. Fully agree and if you're into process geomorphology or architecture there are some amazing things to see as well. The summer time 100 degree temps at 10 pm (yes, I've seen that in person) is too much for me but I'd never fault someone for choosing it.
  22. Do you believe that Sarks play calling and adjustments have been perfect? Could you help we idiots who know nothing about football understand why our 3rd quarter scoring has been so bad with such great play calling and half time adjustments? I'm an idoit and ask kindly for your help with my regards. I don't want to come off as some 2%er Horn and could really use the knowledge. Thank in advance.
  23. I'll one up you. Have him be the Texas Game Day Offensive Consultant to Sark a pro-bono unofficial position. Fucking PROFIT!!!!
  24. Yeah, it's fucking weird they recorded it... it's way weirder opting to fucking post it unless.. which isn't unlikely they were fucking streaming it.. which... words..
