They are in plain clothes because they are bounty hunters being paid per person they abduct. This is well know here in California.

It’s also why more are fighting back.

I’ll wait on the Surly lawyers to weigh in on how the No Secret Police Act, if passed in California, will impact these people and their face masks and clothing since they are being given direction by Nazi Miller.

Seems like a matter of time before one of them is fired upon.

I think you still could whisper, "worldstar," into his ear in the the voice in which you read Goodnight Moon to your young kids (". . . the quiet old lady, who is whispering, "Hush").

edit: I'm off to write "Goodnight, Trump."  It'll look like MAGA, but it will be some lib-snowflake propaganda baked in.  Yes, I know they can't read.  Damn.

    Million dollar idea right here

To be fair, I read the whole Trump post in the Ace Ventura ass voice but the ending with “thank you for your attention to this matter” put it over the top, similar to the “thank you for your cooperation.”

Pretty much where we are at as a country.

FIFY. Looks like it's Tulsi vs the head of lettuce time in DC.

Trump is ‘losing confidence’ in Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard as he mulls removing her entire office, senior official says

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-tulsi-gabbard-israel-iran-b2772131.html

Like, the entire department of National Intelligence?  That seems problematic.

Oh, now I get why he doesn't give a fuck.

    Quote

He has also reportedly been considering the idea of closing Gabbard’s office and integrating its responsibilities into the CIA’s leadership infrastructure. However, this could have a significant impact on oversight of the U.S. intelligence community and affect how information is relayed to the commander-in-chief.

You should. We took the cable cars to the top of Alpe de Siusi and Seceda today from Ortisei.  Spectacular.

I’ve done that twice. Fucking Sound of Music up there.

This is actually going to happen and they'll let whoever is paying fly whatever flag they want as long as it's not a Pride flag or anything else the trumpers would object to. Trump flags, that Christian nationalist flag, advertisement for Trump friendly corporations or even countries. Total Idiocracy prequel shit.

When I was a kid you could buy a Texas flag that flew over the Capitol. I assume that’s still a thing.

You know what?  No. I’m tired of this bullshit meme. Oh? Some traitor had a salient point for one moment in their lives?  More than likely a mistake or a deliberate attempt to reach out to one iota outside their cult bubble?  No. Fuck them. Always and forever.

Tucker fucking Carlson or Ted Cruz or Putin or Trump or my in laws will never have a fucking genuine point about anything in their entire stupid lives. Fuck off.

I really hope, if we ever get another President, the first thing that person does is rip those flag poles out of the ground in a public ceremony, melt them down and mold them into statues of Obama and Biden and then place them exactly where those flag poles were.  Extra points if Trump is still alive to watch it.

Yeah. Also if we could put him into carbonite, that would be fun too.

It's not Isreal's agreement.  And I would respect an agreement between Isreal and Iran more than I would anything we were involved with.

On June 12, 2025, IAEA found Iran non-compliant with its nuclear obligations for the first time in 20 years.[165] The IAEA stated that Iran's repeated failure to fully address questions about undeclared nuclear material and activities amounts to non-compliance.[166] It also raised concerns over Iran's enriched uranium stockpile, which could be used for both reactor fuel and nuclear weapons.[166] Iran dismissed the resolution as politically motivated,[166] and declared plans to build a new enrichment site and install advanced centrifuges.[167]

Yes. This has been discussed. They were following the agreement until Captain dipshit tore it up for no reason in his first admin.

It’s like I’m playing cards with my brother’s kids here.

Man.  I'm so glad we elected the "no more wars" president.  Who has, in the past day or so.....

    - told a country to evacuate its capital city

    - openly said that he's refraining from killing its head of state....for now

    - demanded an entire nation's "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!"....and

    - admitted that the United States is already engaged in combat operations against that state.

Man, that's DEFINITELY how you do "no more wars."  Bravo.

Was that wrong?  Should he not have done that?

So Bari Weiss had Niall Ferguson and Dexter Filkins on her podcast today (recorded yesterday noonish) and they speculated that the Iranians could try to get what enriched uranium they have and detonate it in the desert, thereby declaring themselves a nuclear power in an effort to cower a restive populace.

Another interesting tidbit was an expectation Israel will have to put boots on the ground to permanently cripple Fordo.  Filkens said a former Biden official told him the Israeli SF were role playing that a month ago.

What makes you think they haven’t already?  Israel got to much of their arsenal already.

First, Bari Weiss is a grifter. Second…ok first and second.

  12. So if I’m the leadership of Iran, what exactly is my reasoning for not just launching everything I have in a moment of final glory?  The most powerful leader in the world just told my biggest city to evacuate and my other biggest enemy has already aced most of my military leaders. It just seems primed.

This sounds hysterical on its face, but I would bet a mortgage payment we see this by year 3, if not sooner.

Man, my record on this board is pretty clear as to owning the stupidity of some things I did/believed in the past (e.g., I thought "trickle down" economics made some sense, etc.).

But I think my lucky stars that the quoted was NOT one of my youthful mistakes.  I appreciated pretty much ALL of it....can only think of a couple of hard rejects....goddammit, now that I think about it, I regret the hell out of both of those hard rejections.  Idiot.

    I celebrate my entire catalog.
