Most people have said Keke and Alaka are good. Durham is undersized but a decent player.

Mack is fat and his production at A&M never matched his recruiting ranking or perceived talent level.

this . . this is actually more or less correct. mack was also quietly pretty awesome this year.

pre-bowl we're 42nd in defensive s+p (which has its issues, but is as good as anything else from an overall metric standpoint) coming off a sweet 71st ranking in chavis' final year.

i'm guessing we're top 30 in overall s+p next year. please feel free to bookmark and bring up repeatedly when clemson puts up 60 on us next september.

Elko has one month left of being considered an elite DC. He has to know with what aggy loses in their front 7 next year that their run defense is about to be as bad as their pass defense. If he doesn't get the Temple job, he ought to try replacing Diaz in Miami. Or maybe call up James Madison.

thankfully, i've been assured on here that daylon mack, kingsley keke, landis durham and otaro alaka all suck, so i'm guessing we should be in good shape.

There’s been talk of Christian Williams and Keilan Robinson getting processed. Also, Justin Eboigbe might decommit.

i'm trying to imagine looking at a college roster, watching christian williams' film, and deciding he can't help me.

that program is on such an ahistorical run that i'm not sure what to do besides shrug at this point.

It’s been a dirty recruitment the whole way. The dad is a nut getting paid and he’s going to be a major problem after Carter signs.

This flip wasn’t signing day, but close enough for the surprise. It’s been known in Bama circles that Carter was flipping to them for at least two weeks before I first posted about a signing day surprise, so whenever that’s dated, that +2 weeks or more is when they said fuck it and bought the motherfucker. I believe that’s around the time another Bama target made it clear to them he was headed elsewhere.

first round corners are expensive. fuck.

Leal is somewhat surprising...Cupp is not. He's a stud. But if I remember correctly at one point he was like top 300 and his shuttle up was meteoric.

Leal I suppose is proof that the rankings are based on pro potential, unless of course aggy starts ranting about position switches of their commits. Leal's senior film didn't seem like he did anything to get bumped up to a 5 star.

i worry about leal being a bit of a tweener, but if his floor is a plus athlete at 5 tech that sets the edge, so be it.

cupp is a freak. as is his mom.

I'm somewhat surprised Mond was the QB Jimbo decided to roll with. Starkel is a turnover machine but he can at least complete a pass beyond 5 yards.

starkel is a goofball, which i don't think helped him.

mond is a grinder, wants to be great, is incredibly coachable, but god love him - just isn't accurate enough. jimbo's arrogant enough to assume he can make any halfway-decently athletic qb great (see: his last few years of evaluations at the position) but his offense creates so much of a burden on the guy you better choose wisely.

By all means sign every Orebo and Chibuzo that you can. WHOOP!

You can always tell when something awesome happens to Aggy, like an UGA decommit or win over Kentucky because bizzle surfaces, like fucking clockwork. No worries though soon he'll be back to posting with his sock aka "being in famously internet-less Vancouver" again.

this is going to get a bit awkward when herman starts pushing for chibuzo.

and i think your main problem is you don't take recruiting seriously enough.

I think you're on the verge of stacking 2-3 top 10 classes in a row. I think you'll see the aggies elevated to Johnny Manziel-ish heights. I think we'll hear a fuckton of hooting, hollering, and typical aggie crowing about the wonderment of their coach and pride. And then I think we'll see cracks in the foundations and a whole swirl of bullshit, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

That's what I think your best case scenario is, anyway. If it is, you'll mock be in the middle of it and I'll wait.

If that doesn't happen, then your boy has fallen short of the ceiling. You can knock me over with a feather if the upside winds up going beyond a top 10 finish in 2021/2022 though.

a hell of a lot more people can build a company than sustain one. we obviously gave the contract thinking he was capable of both.

stack talent, develop it. keep a gifted, motivated staff around you (obviously his biggest failure at fsu).

the rest is a bit of luck. if our heights end up being a top 5 finish where afterwards i stumble into the mansion asking an OU student about her spring course schedule . . . i'll take it.

This issue will also be true with Kenyon Green's father, Malik Hornsby's mother, and I'm guessing more than a few others given that the ATM staff does not appear to give one fuck about the character of the hangers-ons and family members of who they're recruiting. I expect it to blow up gloriously somewhere, although I won't pretend to know with whom.

i think our entire recruiting class along with their families should be in prison.

    - If there's a coach worth throwing fuck you money at, it's Peterson. I didn't think he would ever Boise, and I was wrong. However, he has a good thing going at Washington and I'm again unsure if he would leave.

washington is a shit show on the administration level. i think he would listen to a texas overture.

It too a Hercules talent like Winston to make Fisher "respectable" (even though he sucks and couldn't win the ACC more than twice, all while recruiting better than anyone in that conference.

was he really even respectable? amazing he held on to his job imo.
