Don’t worry, Bizzle will go back to internet free Canada once something negative happens to Aggy

sadly no, but colorado and wyoming for most of august. i'll be spending my days circulating the bills that i'm set to deliver to malik hornsby should it be needed.

I hope his delay forces aggie to make Leal/Demas/Richardson like accommodations. In this case since the trainer and parent is also a well known HS coach it would be very difficult for aggie to rest easy.

some of y'all really need to make up your minds as to how bad we suck at everything, versus running the nation's most vast and complex pay-for-prospect scheme that stretches coast to coast.

and most of you need jesus.

Yeah I don't know. I don't keep up with who is or isn't holding their hand out. I just know I was asking one of the coaches,  who is one of our best recruiters and who refuses to make excuses about anything, about what happened with Leal and he said "Jimbo bought him a good one." I followed up with "are you serious?" He said Leal was all Texas until Aggy bought him.

    i can confirm this.

They are so giddy about perceived HTH wins over Texas for 2 guys that are 4th and 3rd on the Texas respective position boards.

i think we're giddy about any cornerback who appears like he can 1. make a play on the football, and 2. break a 4.8

  5. dang some of y'all have shitty jobs in the suburbs.

also, i'm just here to note for the record that during this incredibly average recruiting run we're on, isaiah raikes is going to be a badass dt in college.

please quote this to me when he transfers back to jersey his first semester on campus.

Bankhead actually looks like a reasonable athlete. Jefferson looked like the kid from Deadpool 2 trying to run.

i can actually consume enough drinks to where i reach a point that makes the bankhead offer appears almost reasonable. dude is built well, strong as shit, maybe you can rebuild his body, get him halfway quicker, etc, bullshit, etc.

the jefferson offer at that age is rather insane and the kid now has to go through a public thrashing which is not at all his fault.

    Rostam WAS vampire weekend.

yeah, i totally disagree with this. really enjoyed his solo album, and the collaboration with leithauser was really fun, but ezra has most likely forgotten more incredible melodies than rostam will ever come up with.

while i agree with you it misses his editorializing (or douche control), i think the production on the majority of the album (some of which i know features rostam) is great. punt the haim and steve lacy collaborations and you've got a great little 13 song album.

There are the really catchy songs like "Harmony Hall" and "This Life", but I think "Stranger" is the best of them all.

But I really love the little gems like "Big Blue" and "Jerusalem, New York, Berlin" and "Unbearably White"

    stranger is incredible.

  9. no idea if it's life circumstances allowing me to listen to more music, or just randomly connecting with more albums, but I've enjoyed so much more in 2019 than the past few years combined - vampire weekend, bibio, big thief, local natives, nick murphy, anderson.paak, glen hansard, lucy rose, american football, foals, helado negro - i'm enjoying a big part of all of those albums and a bunch more.

nomaaa is probably going to have to take multiple weeks off for his top 10 list.

Man, that was a really enjoyable night. Did you go, bizzle? The weather was fantastic and the area works really well. We got there as Matthew's wife was doing a solo set with just her on stage, playing guitar. I didn't realize that's who it was until Phosphorescent came on and she was playing keyboard. Have only seen her side profile during shows and not ever hearing her voice. She's Aussie, which explains "Christmas Down Under" now. Their two kids were running around shirtless during her set and Sarah Jaffe's, which was pretty good too.

At any rate, $5 to see Phosphorescent and Sarah Jaffe not far from the house on a beautiful night was pretty, pretty good. I highly recommend the Thursday concert series out there if you like the artist. Trouble is it's a bunch of nobodies from here out other than Hard Day's Night and Shooter Jennings. At least they're free.

ended up showing up for the 2nd half - bizarre development, but great setup that night.

last night's 1975 gig was great as well, the toyota center thing sucks ass.

  11. this is great.

curious how it will hold up on repeated listens as there seem fewer of the crazy-production-depth pieces rostam would fill the spaces with, but i've gone from thinking ezra was a kind of a bit / one-note songwriter, to thinking he's one of the more gifted artists of the last 20 years over the last 2 albums.

So bizarre -- Phosphorescent is coming back to Dallas (well, Irving) next week?!?! Tickets are $5 at the Texas Lottery Plaza. Sarah Jaffe is either playing too -- or supporting Matthew. Flummoxed. Just bought two.

wow. all over that, even if it means an evening in irving.

  13. new anderson paak is great. not quite as strong as malibu but miles better than oxnard.

slightly more off the radar (and a terrible band name) but intellexual is the two guys that have made a bunch of beats / sounds for chance the rapper, frank ocean, kanye, etc. and i don't even know how to classify this album (the go team does shoegaze?) but it's random and a good spring soundtrack.
