-3 star JAG OLB from Tallahassee without any offers from the big Florida schools.

-3 star OT, who is the replacement for Shepherd (probably got pressured into it because he didn't have a spot until Shepherd said no)

    Possible commits:

-a 3 star QB who has an offer from UGA to be their 3rd QB in this class , but whose best offer is Northwestern

-2 3 star JAG OL from Pensacola, FL that crazy Karen seems to think are good

    -A 3 star C from Manvel

    for the record:

    - i think tarian hill turns into a pretty decent player. film reminds me a lot of buddy johnson.

    - trainor hopefully can turn into an anchor at RT. we're still really hurting for a tackle pipeline, especially if sheppard goes elsewhere.

    - banks going elsewhere sucks, as there are only so many guys that can flip their hips and run in any given cycle. i think wolfe is one, but i'm in the minority there. gotta find another cover guy.

    - given up trying to predict qb recruiting. hope whoever we get develops.

Get ready for the chin pubes article about how all these guys are SEC-type road graders.

rayburn is reporting offers from florida, florida state, bama (i know), auburn, clemson, miami, stanford and tennessee.

medley shows offers from clemson, florida st, bama (again, i know), auburn, florida, lsu, miami, ole miss, and tennessee.

i realize non-committable offers get thrown around a lot more these days, but if this is the low-hanging fruit we're setting for, i'll take it compared to a roster full of the anderson twins as o line depth.

it is quite good.  much better than pure comedy for me.

pure comedy was really, really overwrought. liking this one better, he seems either more or less self-aware, to his credit.

Yeah. 2013 was the nightmare class for everyone who recruited the state of Texas. Luckily for UT, at least, we only took 15 that cycle. aggy, on the other hand, took 32 in what was supposed to be a foundational class for their program that turned out to have guys like LaQuivontae Gonzalez and the two dudes who pistol whipped that guy they were buying drugs from back in the days when Sumlin was dominating the race for the Fulmer Cup.

to be fair, darian claiborne was going to be fucking awesome if he wasn't, you know, a complete shithead of a human.

and damn that 2013 class / year was awful.

Oh FFS, maybe you really are imart blowing this bullshit. fuck there is no fan base that loves themselves a fucking insider like Aggy. (ZOMG "The Fly" posted it, it must be true "a little birdy told him" all that other horse shit.  Above the paygrade of a mid-tier employee, eh? So is imart Hurley or Batson?  Take you pick. We know he's not Toole, Moore, or Douglas Walker. I can't remember who it was that was doxxed but it certainly wasn't Hurley or Batson and they certainly shouldn't be posting that often on gigem, esp about specific recruits and talking shit about their families and money changing hands, grades, etc ... much less interacting with Hamm once the hammer got dropped on his ass.

so yes bizzle, a fucking "mid-tier AD" employee.

you sweet thing. you really don't understand how this works.

    so bizzle is imart. 🤔🤔🤔

I always assumed you were also ktown777 (ok, I still think that's actually sarva)

That slapdick Imart appears to know athletic dept activities in The Station but he knows fuckall about UT's AD and every time he pretends to know something about UT he shows it. I'd guess that beyond the schtick he's a mid-tier guy within the AD. Pretty sure that one 12th man foundation guy doxxed his ass when he went all redass and got banned on TexAgs, AggieYell, and Gigem on the same night but I missed the entire hullaballew caneck caneck.

i'm also randolph. crazy world we live in.

and the types of decisions being discussed here are way above the pay grade of "mid-tier AD" employees.

Well, that's interesting info. I took him semi-seriously (not his attitude, his info) because both Hamm and Peronni have deferred to him and referenced him as a guy with legit sources.

oh i would take him seriously. he knows where a few bodies are buried both in college station and austin.

and i like trainer as a project to start down the road, but our immediate tackle depth chart is rough.

I dont think its Liucci. First his ego wouldnt let him post on 247. Second Hamm and Peronni cant stand Liucci but theyve given that guy a platform as an insider.

Its been apparent in some of his posts and what what he has posted that he is positioning himself as someone in the athletic dept at ATM. He was criticial of how sumlin recruited and coached, and he knew shit like both qbs transferring independantly a day or two before it became public.

This is just my opinion, but I think he works at aTm, near or in the athletic dept. And this last post of his, to me, tacitly screams a knowledge of recruiting shennanigans happening. I dont know what else could constitute one if “so many moving parts” or whatever he said, while dismissing shit like girlfriends and whatnot.

legit lol. imart is way too smart to be working in an athletic department - and people take his acerbic online bit too seriously, he's basically just our version of ctj, with maybe a bit more e-anger.

also, i would like to state on the record that wherever christian harris ends up, he will be all-conference and a top 3 round pick in the nfl. love that kid's film.

Bragg is absolutely the most important recruit in this class besides RoJo, from my perspective. It's always been that way.

Texas needs to sign 5 OL in this class. Johnson is a good start. Get Bragg. Somehow land Shepherd. Find a couple of other late developers or get lucky with someone like Wilkins, and there you go.

They could also just get really, really aggressive and sign Green. I'd prefer not to see it, myself.

bragg is a monster, and is the kind of top-15 nfl pick stanford spits out every other year, but i'm curious how you rate a G/C as the most important guy in a class besides a qb.

Barton S. gave a little bump to Aggy LB commit Andre White from 3* and #757 in the country into the top 247 at #197 and is now the #1 player in PA (via 247).

he apparently kicked ass at some camp up there last week. still have a hard time believing a kid from there that penn st. is actually prioritizing doesn't end up  in happy valley.

Magically, and I don't understand how it happened, but DeRuyter was a great DC for them. They liked him when he was there, and now they talk shit about the guy like he's Gary Darnell. It's baffling.

deruyter was great, and is a really great guy. pretty sure i drunkenly said he was one of the best DC's in the country on shaggy circa november 2010.  still don't know why he took that fresno st. job, that's a career killer.

Talked aggy commit Josh Ellison today and he said Jimbo has never directly said that visits to other schools were off-limits. Something interesting that he did say was that he would love to get offers from Florida and Michigan. Doesn't sound all that firm in his commitment.

    slide into those DM's?

Yeah, I mean Elam ignores Paul. Completely. If StarkleMotion his him instead, Elam is so far inside that he's a non-factor in the play. You'd have 17 yards on the completion and that doesn't take in to account that the CB (that has deep 3rd here) follows the WR across the zone and doesn't stay in his 3rd -- if you look at the 4:08 mark you can see just how far he's taken him, he's actually directly behind Elam by about 12 yards, so if you hit Paul with Elam peeking into the backfield it's a HUGE gain if not 90 to the house, there is NO ONE home from the hash out.  --- also Jimbo's hands at 4:11 needs to be gif'd.

you and tarp need a podcast.

I like the new Leon Bridges after my first listen. It's clear that he wanted to do some different stuff and not just make the same album again. Every now and then it doesn't work, but overall I think it's a good record.

supposedly he recorded what was more or less coming home 2.0 and decided to go a different direction - props to him for trying something new, and I agree that most seems to work, if somewhat generic in spots.

Young despite his speed and build looks a lot better facing the ball than he does trailing, for sure. His bigger issues will be outside the lines. Wolfe has become Deion Sanders at Aggy247, a lot of "lockdown CB" etc... thrown his way. He's going to have to prove that he can cover without holding, grabbing, and ripping and more importantly he's gonna have to prove that he can play without a WR getting in his head and getting him out of his game. I think he has potential to be an ok man cover guy underneath but he's a RS year and A LOT of technique away from that. I know it's a long-standing mystery but I don't know why, even under this new staff, that Aggy targets only these type of guys. Forgetting the guys like Green or Cook --- you'd think that they'd have gone all in guys like Jamison, McKinley, Gordon, or Blaylock in 2018. In 2019 it seems like a guys like Alex Hogan (I expect UT to circle back on him and could see him be a future UT commit late in the process), Ja’corey Benjamin, or Deondre Dansby would be guys that A&M should be all over. Guys that can cover in space. I get that Wolfe and Young have bigger names, longer builds, and Young certainly has more athleticism but how many long athletes that can't cover can one roster handle? they need help immediately at CB.

i think wolfe has the hips for it - he just happens to be physical as hell, and can get away with manhandling guys at the high school level. dude's ceiling is through the roof.

pretty sure young moves to safety within a week of whatever college campus he lands at.

(please bookmark this when young is an all-american corner at OU and wolfe never cracks the depth chart in college station)

or so far in the tank for your program that you're incapable of having a rational dialogue

that's actually tattooed on my ass.

and again, from you of all people, someone on the recruiting board who seems to be a functioning member of society - of course context and data matter. demarvin leal just took a visit and we didn't cut him loose. see how stupid this entire discussion is?

and if you think jimbo is out here promising starting spots to kids, you really don't know how his pitch works.
