Stopped by Whataburger for a jalapeno biscuit w/ egg and bacon, after dropping my pup off at the groomers.  I found out they no longer make/sell jalapeno biscuits.  Fuck Chicago.

It's not at all on par with the Petersen, but if you're near LAX on the weekend, check out the Automobile Driving Museum. It's still a fun way to spend a couple of hours though.

They give rides in 4-5 different cars each day, or at least they did before COVID.

Thanks that will be on the to-do list too

  3. Taking the family to California this summer and we fly into LAX early on the first day. We will be spending the rest of the day at the Petersen. Pretty excited to check it out.

  4. Not a pocket knife but saw this guy making knives out of railway spikes. I bought one and made a paradors handle for it. No real use for it, but it looks kinda cool and was cheap.

She's a phenomenal dog, pit-husky rescue from a shelter. We've had her for about 8 years now and has made countless moves in the military. She goes everywhere I go and enjoys hanging out. /thread derail over. af1998775b4b01c53bd6b55e237a4681.jpg

Awesome dog. I'm hoping she is named for a pirate or two-face or something.

Had a productive day yesterday after a few weeks of traveling for business. Finally finished installing bumpers, NOS door locks and door handles on the car. Sandblasted my tail light covers and sent off the trim rings for restoration.

Still need to install a new antenna, fender-mounted turn signals, and replace a leaking rear-wheel cylinder tomorrow. The dog enjoyed the cool weather and classic rock music. f9768363f350f3f7852a893dcce39891.jpg

  7. Saw a Terradyne Gurkha in Addison just now, because you definitely need an armored truck driving around the Dallas suburbs.

How old are the kids? Torrey was over 5.5 hours when I played over thanksgiving break (on that Monday, I think).

7 year old girl that would probably go to the beach with my wife, and a 10 year old son that would probably come with me.

  9. Headed there with the kids on July. I'll read through this list, but also need to figure out if I want to try and play Torrey Pines while I'm out there. I would take my son, but he would just ride with me and maybe play a little around the green if it is slow.
